Day 7 of our Alaskan Cruise! 🚢🌊🏔️

I will be sharing a day-by-day recap of our recent Alaskan cruise, day 7, sea day & our last day 😢, was another chill, easy going day! The day started off rainy with Hulk coffee, we didn’t take as many pictures this day as we were trying to soak up all of the beauty on our last full day! 😍❤️🌊🚢

We ended with a fun dinner that included our own drawings into a fun little show. What a magical way to end our adventure! 🎨

Then at woke up back where we started our journey in Vancouver, it was time to disembark and fly home to our fluffy girls! 🥹❤️

I still can’t believe we had the opportunity to enjoy such a beautiful, incredible adventure! It was so much fun going through all of our memories to share, I can’t wait to see what our next one will be!

Day 6 of our Alaskan Cruise! 🚢🌊🏔️

I will be sharing a day-by-day recap of our recent Alaskan cruise, on day 6 we visited the salmon capitol of the world, Ketchikan, Alaska! 🌊🐟

Started off with Sully from Monsters Inc. on my latte, and made our way out to explore the port ☕️ We had a small bite to eat at Alaska Fish House, explored some of the historical areas of Ketchikan and more before our short Port Adventure!

We did a historic Ketchikan Pub Crawl 🍻 definitely fun time and a great way to learn about this area. Ketchikan is completely on water, and can only be reached by boat or plane. It was such a great destination with a lot of character! After enjoying everything we wanted to explore in Ketchikan, we went back to the ship for some live music before dinner and our final sail away 🎶🥂🌊🚢

Day 5 of our Alaskan Cruise! 🚢🌊🏔️

I will be sharing a day-by-day recap of our recent Alaskan cruise, on day 5 we visited the capitol of Alaska, Juneau!

We started our day off with coffee, of course. Then made our way down to our Port Adventure, which was a tram to the top of Mt. Robert! It was so beautiful and we found some walking trails to view even more of the scenery, everything was just breathtaking 😍🏔️🚡🌲

We rewarded ourselves with a trip to Alaskan Brewery! We were able to visit the actual brewery where their beers are made and then we made our way back for sail away. 🍻

While waiting to sail away on our verandah, we finally spotted a beautiful bald eagle! It was hard to get a good picture, but he was so majestic! 🦅❤️🥹

After sailing away we had another lovely meal at Palo, this time for dinner! We had the same wonderful server from our brunch experience, and enjoyed every minute of our meal 🥂❤️

Another wonderful day indeed! 🚢🌊✨❄️

Day 4 of our Alaskan Cruise! 🚢🌊🏔️

I will be sharing a day-by-day recap of our recent Alaskan cruise, on day 4 we finally got off the ship in Skagway, Alaska!

We started our day off with coffee, of course. Then made our way down to meet for our first Port Adventure! We booked the Scenic White Pass Railway, this was a 3 hour train tour through the historic Yukon Route that was highly utilized during the Gold Rush. We had the best time and would highly recommend this Port Adventure! The views were amazing, and each side of the train had a chance to take the sights in either on the way there or back as we looped around halfway through our journey. Definitely a great experience! 🚂🛤️🏔️

After that we explored the city of Skagway, home to less than 900 annual residents. It was so adorable and charming! We checked out a local coffee shop and few local bars before heading back to the ship for sail away and dinner. What a fun day! ❤️☕️🍻🌊

Day 3 of our Alaskan Cruise! 🚢🌊🏔️

I will be sharing a day-by-day recap of our recent Alaskan cruise, day 3, Glacier Day, was by far our favorite day! 😍❄️

We woke up excited for the day because we were both feeling much better from the day before, but we had also heard that this is the best day of the cruise.

We started with another specialty coffee, got Baby Yoda! ☕️

We went to a presentation on glaciers presented by an expert onboard to learn more about what we were seeing that day, and how the captain decides which glacier we will attempt to get close to based on the weather and reports in the area. The Disney Wonder is a very small ship compared to others that cruise in this area, so the ship can get into very small areas. We ended up going up Tracy Arm to see the Sawyer Glacier.

Since we still had time after the presentation, we went to another cooking class to learn how to make one of Devon’s favorite DCL dishes, sea bass! 😋

After the cooking class we took in some views before heading to another beverage class we booked in advance, Chocolate and Liquor! This class paired 5 different types of wine or liquor with different food items. I had wanted to try this class for awhile, but it’s very popular and not offered on all cruises. We were feeling a little anxious to get back out on deck to see the sights, but we still had a view during the class. It was a lot of fun and we would do it again! I tried some scotch and didn’t hate it, probably because it was a $300 bottle 🤣🍷🍫

The best part of our day was taking in the beautiful scenery and seeing a real glacier, we stayed awhile for viewing opportunities before heading back. The journey back was slow and just as beautiful, we decided to experience this portion from our verandah. This ended up being a highlight of our journey, we enjoyed some surprise sparkling wine for sailing with DCL so many times, and got to view waterfalls, mountains and more. Words still cannot express how wonderful this day truly was! 😍🥂❄️🏔️

Day 2 of our Alaskan Cruise! 🚢🌊🏔️

I will be sharing a day-by-day recap of our recent Alaskan cruise, day 2, sea day, started off wonderfully with Minnie coffee and a rainbow!
☕️🌈✨🌊

We went to a cooking class entitled, “Anyone Can Cook”, inspired by the movie Ratatouille! We learned how to make one of my favorite DCL appetizers, lobster ravioli 🦞

After the cooking class we enjoyed a wonderful brunch at Palo, the specialty adult-only restaurant onboard the ship! Our food delicious, the views were incredible, and our server was fantastic. This was definitely the high point of our day! 🥂

After brunch we do not have many pictures as things took a turn. We ended up having a pretty rocky day at sea so the rest of the day was low key, but we made the best of it! After returning home we learned that we had to take a different route that put us more into the Pacific Ocean to avoid disrupting pods of whales. Who would’ve thought?! 😵‍💫🥴🤣

Day 1 of our Alaskan Cruise! 🚢🌊🏔️

I will be sharing a day-by-day recap of our recent Alaskan cruise, we had the best time starting as soon as we got onboard! We’ve been on the Disney Wonder, but it had been quite awhile since our last trip on this ship so everything felt new again ❤️

We got to watch our ship pull into the harbor from our hotel room, such a cool experience! We took a coffee walk to take a peek before packing up and going through customs since we were in Canada.

Once onboard, we headed a straight to lunch at Tiana’s Place! Many love the buffet options after getting on the ship, but we prefer a sit down meal. Both options are great and included in your cruise! 😋

After lunch, our room was ready! We were excited to drop our things off and see where we would be staying during our voyage.

We had signed up for a champagne tasting that took place before sailing away, we had tried this on another cruise and we’ve decided that it will be our new embarkation day tradition! Such a fun way to start our journey! 🍾🥂🎉

After our tasting we had to do the mandatory safety drill, then we headed to the top deck for sail away! 🚢🌊☀️🎉

The sights were so beautiful and breathtaking, even as we were leaving Vancouver 😍 we spent the evening taking in the mountains and sunshine on our verandah before heading to dinner. After dinner we turned in early to get rested for the rest of our adventure! In all, a great first day ✨

We’re home from our Alaskan adventure, and all we can say is WOW! 🚢🌊✨🦅❄️

What an incredible experience, the pictures do not do it justice! We had the best time and hope we can enjoy this journey again one day. These are just a few of the hundreds of photos we took, I will be sharing a day by day recap of our trip! I’m excited to relive again with all of you! ❤️

Surprise! 🎉🏔️🚢🌊✨

We’re in Vancouver, Canada getting ready to set sail on an Alaskan cruise on the Disney Wonder! We can’t wait to unplug and enjoy the beautiful scenery, we’re already in awe of all of the mountains 😍

This trip has actually been in the works for quite a few years due to having to cancel and reschedule a few times, SO SO excited it’s finally happening!
