My biz is THREE 🥳

Three years ago I quit my 9-5 job in healthcare, moved to Puerto Rico solo, and officially registered (zero idea what I was doing fyi).

I was making $300/month from content creation at the time and had $40,000 saved to travel the world for one year. After my year was up, I planned to move to the city, work for a hospital there, and settle.

Three years later and my biz is still going strong 💪🏼

I’m definitely not where I thought I would be when I went full-time three years ago, but it’s because I honestly didn’t know half of these things were possible!!

Over the past few years…

-I have worked with hundreds of travel brands, hotels, airlines, tour companies, and tourism boards.

-I have started, grown, and monetized my blog, podcast, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest, and email list.

-I have spoken at 10 major conferences, both in the US and abroad, and many virtual summits and events.

-I launched the Travel Boss Membership, a community for travel content creators, which now has a full team and over 500 enrollees 🥹

-I have been able to travel (and host trips) to over 50 countries including bucket list places like Japan, Kenya, and Antarctica.

All thanks to content creation 🙌🏼

It’s been an amazing ride that wouldn’t have been possible without YOU. Thank you for being a part of this community 🫶🏼 Cheers to three more years!

March recap pt. 1✨

My podcast co-host () and I were invited to for their Summer Fun media event to chat all things Disney on our podcast, Travel Chat with Ashley and Emily (our episode on planning your Disney trip is out now and it’s SO good) 🤩

We spent the week interviewing cast members from every department in the Disney fam, recording episodes with the crew, and of course enjoying all the 🎉

This was a dream partnership, not only because I have loved Disney since I was a kid, but also because I got to bring my whole family along and experience the magic through their eyes 🫶🏼

Thank you again for the most amazing memories!

I’m a Bessie Award finalist 🥹✨✈️

Trailblazer Award: This award is for the go-getter who has thrived in the past year in building her own empire and carving out a path for future leaders in the travel space.

3 years ago, WITS took a chance on me. I saw a need for more discussion around money in the travel space, so I applied to be a speak about Instagram monetization (still a baby creator). They ACCEPTED and I flew to Poland to speak at my first conference ✨

I have been a WITS speaker every year since, always talking about how women can build a business with their content and get PAID!

Over those three years, my life has completely changed:

-I grew my accounts and platforms
-I started a membership for travel creators (TBM)
-I worked with some incredible brands
-I flew around the world to work with travel destinations and companies
-I hosted group trips to bucket list places
-I started a Top 15 travel podcast

And much of this wouldn’t have been possible without the WITS community ✨

At the end of the day, this account has always been about empowerment, breaking barriers, trusting in yourself, and knowing your worth.

We deserve to be successful and get PAID. Because money in the hands of passionate women will change the freakin world 🌎

Thank you so much to my amazing community and thank you to the for always believing in me. This is a nomination I will cherish forever. ☺️

Disturbing street in Tokyo 😓

Don’t get me wrong, I had an amazing time in Tokyo, but this street through me for a loop…

We decided to explore Takesh*ta Street in Shibuya, as it is a popular pedestrian walking street lined with shops, restaurants, and cafes.

Now I know Tokyo has its famous cat cafes, but as a dog person, I never had much interest. When I saw puppy cafes, however, I thought “OMG, that would be so fun!”

But as I walked along Takesh*ta Street, I become more and more disturbed by the plethora of animal cafes.

They had pretty much every adorable animal you could think of:

-Cats
-Dogs
-Pigs
-Monkeys
-Hedgehogs
-Ferrets
-Foxes
-Capybaras
-Meerkats

These animals would be paraded outside to lure customers in, overworked and overstimulated, then housed in chains, cages, and environments that aren’t suitable for any animal.

I’m honestly tearing up writing this after reading the horrific reviews from people who were tempted by the cuteness.

I’m not 100% when it comes to ethical animal tourism, being completely honest. I have gone to zoos, the monkey forest, and participated in safaris - yet I am making better choices each day and always draw the line at touching, riding, hand feeding, etc.

Participating in unethical animal tourism is not loving animals. It’s heartbreaking. Please do your research before you participate in anything related to animals ❤️

Love letter to 2024

More specifically, the people of 2024 ❤️

99% off the time this account showcases me in some bucket list destination around the world. As a content creator, my phone and socials are filled with photos and videos of myself. I guess I just got used to that being a solo traveler.

But behind the photos of my laughing, smiling face are the people that are responsible for my success, adventures, and JOY ❤️

They’re not always shown on here, but I wouldn’t be where I am today with these amazing humans in my life.

Some I have known forever and some for just a few days, but each one of these people have impacted my life for the better. As have YOU!

I’m so thankful to have such an incredible family, inner circle, and community. Here’s to remembering to take more photos together in 2025 🥰

I spent most of the month traveling, but to US cities for a change 😜

Here were some highlights:

1.) Emceeing the in Dallas for the second year in a row! And getting to see 15 TBM membership gals 💙

2.) Immersion retreat in Fort Lauderdale with my amazing mastermind sisters and biz coach ✨

3.) Birthday and football weekend with my college besties 🏈

4.) Getting a surprise 100K plaque from after hitting the milestone back in January 💸

5.) Date night to see with my hunny bunny! We saw Wicked on Broadway in 2018 🍿

And of course many wins, guest expert calls, travel opportunities, and paid partnerships in the TBM membership! Love this group so much ✈️

Wild how my life changed ✨

This past week I went on mini retreat with my mastermind ladies.

We learned, we laughed, we cried, and we jumped in the ocean with all of our clothes, of course.

During one of our incredible breath work sessions (shout out ) I had a visualization of a screen coming down and replaying all of these incredible moments that have happened the past 2.5 years since becoming a travel creator.

It was so emotional because it made me realize that I am always on to the next thing and next truly give myself time to sit and reflect on WTF just happened in my life.

How my one of the scariest decisions of my life - to take a career break and try travel creation - had lead to the most amazing opportunities, friendships, trips, and honestly a version of myself that I couldn’t be more proud of 🥹

Don’t get to the end of life only to realize you never did that thing you always wanted to do. It’s not as unable as you think, I promise!! Go get it girl 💖

Costa Rica recap 🇨🇷

Last week, I hosted a women’s group trip to Costa Rica with and 18 woman decided to tag along 🎉

We hiked to waterfalls in the pouring rain, relaxed in hot springs, danced to reggae, zip lined through the rainforest, posed beneath volcanos, tried fresh coffee and chocolate, and so much more!

The location was amazing, but the people truly made this trip what it was 🫶🏼

It was extra special having my momma, my prego sissy, my amazing TBM community manger , and repeat travelers join 🥹

Our itinerary was great, but I probably would have tagged on a few extra days to hang at the beach. July was a great time to go, even though it was a bit rainy. Don’t let that deter you!

Cost to travel to Antarctica (flights, hotels, ship, etc.) I haven’t heard of anyone else doing it this cheap 🙈 We signed up for this cruise 14 days before it set sail with @insiderexpeditions on @atlasoceanvoyages.
