Not gonna lie, our last Workamper experience was a train wreck and it caused me to overthink everything especially the choice we made to do this BUT this place has been absolutely incredible!!!!! The owners are actually in the trenches with you, unlike the last place. They want everyone to do their work but have fun!!!!! We are back in our element cooking good food for guests. Today we worked in the Picknic Basket for the first time with the owner and his son. It was incredible!!!! They both are so eager to sit down and see how we can help them grow 😮😮😮😮😮. Man what a difference!!! I can’t wait to cook a dinner for all our Workamper family so we can bond!!!!

After 4 days of driving, 7 states and 1500 miles we are finally at our next workamping job. We are excited to start this journey and excited to meet new friends. Trina Jackson McGrady Lee McGrady

So the last gig didn’t work out too good so we left. Fortunately we for us we just accepted positions at an RV resort in Texas. We leave out this Sunday to head that way. We are so excited to continue doing this lifestyle. We pray that this endeavor is much better than the last. I felt like we intervened them as much as they interviewed us. Stay tuned for photos and posts about the trip and new endeavor!!!

Well, we are on the road again. Peace out Massachusetts, the state was nice and fun to us but 1/2 of the management couple was not. So for our mental health we decided to move on down the road!!!

We went to New Bedford today and I was able to buy some fresh sea scallops and grey sole fillets straight off the boat. This was my first time cooking scallops but it sure won’t be my last!!! I can’t describe how good they were!!!!

I absolutely love the show Wicked Tuna and to see the boats up close was awesome!!!!!! The bluefin tuna season starts tomorrow and I pray all of these boats are safe and profitable!!!!

Great day exploring Connecticut today. We started at Yantic Falls, then went to Wicked Tulip Farm, then ended our day at Buttonwood Farm Ice Cream. The highlight was definitely the waterfall.

Had the chance to cook for the staff again today!!!! Beef ribs and prime rib was on the menu along with garlic red skin mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables and Trina made homemade peach cobbler!!! Needless to say it was a hit!!!!

Did a little fishing today for the first time in the lake at the resort. Was able to catch a largemouth bass and 2 pickerel in an hour. I’ll take that especially since it’s still really cold.

We have finally made it to Massachusetts. We traveled across 7 states, spent quality time with family and made new friends along the way. We are looking forward to this 8 month adventure ahead of us. We are settled in at Pine Lake RV Resort & Cottages, I will post pictures tomorrow.
