It makes us extremely uncomfortable and sad to see how we are treating our own regions. We plan our vacations to these places but don't care how we are leaving it behind for everyone else who has yet to visit. Also, this makes everyday life much harder for the locals of that area.

Our behaviour and actions can be more or less responsible but what is responsible in a particular place depends upon its environment and culture. Please, lets make better places for people to live in and better places for people to visit. We can do much better than this.
