Block Island • If you know you know; if you don’t, this picturesque island off the coast of Rhode Island is the perfect place to soak up the last days of summer. Accessible by ferries from Montauk, Newport, New London and Port Judith, this little hidden gem has understated New England charm, stunning countryside, dramatic cliffs, sandy beaches and surf-able waves for days.

Our perfect day? Grab a bicycle or moped when you get off the ferry and take meandering tour of the island on two wheels - stopping frequently of course, for plenty of snacks and refreshments. Before heading out of town, grab a coffee at and then hit the open road. Make your way down to The Oar and grab a lawn chair to relax in while you enjoy an icey beverage and harbor views (rumor has it this is also a great place to post up for sunset and sushi). Head back out for more charming countryside roads and then stop again at the Southeast lighthouse. Built in the 1800’s, this icon sits on top of the dramatic clay cliffs of Mohegan’s Bluff. Lastly, head back into town and have a well deserved lunch at the . The lobster rolls are on point and the cocktails are both inventive and refreshing. Staying the night or weekend? While things still look a bit different, the city has slowly adjusted to a new normal thats paved the way for fresh & innovative ways to experience it.

Streets and sidewalks are now humming with alfresco dining, art is back and museums open, even hotels have gradually begun opening their doors again.

3 months and 2 days after our original launch date, we are up and running. Finally. Everything looks different, as COVID turned our meticulously laid plans upside down (March 16th 2020 was a tough day to launch a hospitality startup, as it turned out), But. Isn’t so much of life just figuring out how to make the most out of things that don’t go your way? There’s so much we can’t control right now, but we can keep showing up, putting in the work and trying to get better, and that’s what we’re going to do. We’ll resume our original plans in NYC and other big cities in the fall, but in the meantime, we’re looking to enjoy some beautiful places around the US this summer. Come find yourself with us.
