Mid Autumn Festival 2020, Gardens By The Bay, Singapore
Singapore is celebrating the Mid-autumn festival 2020 at different locations in Singapore by lighting up the streets and setting up different displays. Gardens by the Bay, Singapore has six displays across the park. This video will show you the best view of those displays.
The first display is at the apricot grove, where the display features apricot flowers, at various stages of bloom. The lighting effects give a feeling of flower petals falling from the trees.
The next display is near the supertree grove, which is called the colonnade of lights. This display showcases around 1500 paper lanterns, painted by members of the community.
The royal family walk display, right below the supertree, consists of human figures, made form a Korean traditional paper, called Hanji. This display presents, the king and queen from Joseon Dynasty.
The water song display is prepared near the planet sculpture. This light display is inspired by a famous poem from the poet Su Shi, and features five framed scenes, depicting the beauty of the moon during mid-autumn.
The prosperity rat display is near floral fantasy and it features ten rat lanterns, painted by members of the community.
