A farewell post to DinoLand at Animal Kingdom 🦕😔

Starting today (January 13th, 2025) DinoLand will be closing in phases to make way for “Tropical Americas” coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom in 2027. Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures, Fossil Fun Games, and TriceraTop Spin will close permanently today.

The other Dinoland attractions like Dinosaur, the Boneyard, Restaurantosaurus, Dino-Bite Snacks and Trilo-Bites will still remain open through 2025, as of now and till they get further along in construction.

DinoLand U.S.A. opened with the park on Earth Day on April 22, 1998 and I’ll certainly be sad to see it go. It gives me a sense of nostalgia that my whole family enjoys - it’ll truly be missed! 🦖

Our honeymoon plans are locked in place; we’re going on the Disney Fantasy!! We were going to do something a little more romantic, but we’re not ready to leave the baby with anyone. I’m so excited for her first cruise and our first time on the Disney Fantasy!

Dapper Dans - Christmas Style 💚

The Dapper Dans are such a staple of Main Street USA; every time I run into them, it brings a smile to my face!

Their showtimes are surprisingly not random. You can actually find the performance times by searching for “The Dapper Dans” in your My Disney Experience app ❣️

Did you just hear the BREAKING DISNEY NEWS? Muppets Courtyard is closing permanently to make way for Monsters, Inc Land 😢

I’m so sad about this because I love Muppet Vision 3D, PizzeRizzo, and everything about the Muppets area.

Get this - Rock ‘n’ Roller is being re-themed to Muppets & Electric Mayhem, so no more Aerosmith 😯

At least we get to keep the Muppets still in the park, but I know a lot of people are going to be sad about these changes.
