The start of #stormèowyn
It’s a fairly normal ‘good breeze’ at the moment but forecasts for Coll are a little unpredictable. Perhaps we’re towards the edge of the path, so harder to tell if we’ll end up right in the path or not? A meteorologist tells me to keep an eye on the M4 buoy and Mace station observations (images in chat) this morning to see what is coming our way, but those stations have wildly different readings (one at 5am and one at 6am). Predictions of probably a mean Beaufort 9 with gusts off the scale. We’ll keep you informed on how it’s going!
Bliadhna mhath ùr nuair a thig i / Happy new year when it comes. We wish you health, happiness, and a New Year #doddiedook for 2025 x
We made it! Been quite some time since I’ve sailed in weather this lumpy. Heading out the Sound now.
💨💨💨 So it was a bit wild at the middle pier last night, not to mention the old pier and parking area! #stormashley #isleofcoll
Tide up and over the road here in Arinagour #isleofcoll
