Lately, social media has been swirling with rumors about a visa requirement for visiting Mexico.

Let’s clear this up once and for all → you do not need a visa if you have a valid U.S. passport and are staying for less than 180 days!

I’ve had several concerned clients reach out, and while I hate to see misinformation spread so quickly, I’m so glad they checked in with me. My job as a travel professional is to stay on top of entry requirements, so you don’t have to. If anything were to change for your destination, you’d hear it from me first—long before your trip!

TIP: Always verify what you hear on social media by checking official government sources.

I don’t know about you, but I’m seriously getting stir-crazy – this cold weather has me dreaming of white-sand beaches and sunshine on my skin. Who’s with me?!

After some great consultation calls this week, it’s clear I’m not the only one craving a warm escape! One client was surprised to learn that they could lock in their vacation with a low deposit and have months to pay it off, with the final balance due just 30-45 days before departure. Total game changer!

If paying for a whole trip upfront feels out of reach, booking in advance means you can spread out payments over time. If we book 12 months ahead, that’s 11 months of manageable payments. Easy, right?

So, let’s get your next trip on the books because having something to look forward to makes winter wayyy more bearable!

Today officially marks four years of Tropical Sun Vacations! It’s hard to believe how this little dream of mine has grown into something beyond anything I ever imagined. If you had told me back in my grad school days while I was knee-deep in anatomy and physiology books, that I’d be running my own travel agency, I wouldn’t have believed you!

I still have pinch-me moments realizing that I get to wake up every day and do what I love. While it may seem like all sunshine and rainbows from the outside, the reality includes late nights, long hours, and plenty of moments of doubt as a solopreneur. Funny enough, I never set out to be a business owner, but I always say this career chose me, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

The truth is, Tropical Sun Vacations is what it is today because of YOU. From sharing my name to trusting me with some of life’s most cherished moments – whether it’s your dream wedding, honeymoon, or a “just because” escape – you’ve made this journey possible. Knowing that I help you create lifelong memories with the ones you love is exactly why I do what I do.

It’s easy to get caught up in wanting to grow faster, do more, and be better – but today, I’m taking a moment to appreciate just how far this business of mine has come and how much I’ve grown personally along the way. The incredible people I’ve met, the beautiful destinations I’ve been privileged to experience, and the unforgettable memories I’ve had the honor of being a part of are things I’ll forever be thankful for.

Taylor & Nathan are counting down the days until their honeymoon in MEXICO!
