My Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 itinerary was adventurous. Lol we have a 6:30amnflught from Miami to PR, landed in PR at 8:30am, rented our car, drove across the island to Ceiba Ferry Port, and took a 45 min ferry to Culebra Island. Here’s me relaxing at the ferry after a morning of movement.

I always aim to mix in a little touristy experiences and a whole lot of unique ones! Even though I was in Puerto Rico (a very touristy destination), I was in a part of Puerto Rico that not a lot of tourists go to. When we flew into PR 🇵🇷, the first thing we did was take a 45 min ferry ⛴️ ride to Culebra and stayed there for two days. It did NOT disappoint! Posting a Travel Guide on Culebra tomorrow at 12pm. Saint Lucia 2021 🥲
My mental health was not okay before booking this trip. I booked it out of impulse, because I knew I needed it. I wanted to self reflect & be where I know my soul feels peace. Being surrounded by foreign lands, ocean, mountains makes me feel focused and free. I asked myself so many questions on this trip, & pondered on my life & dreams. I took time to be alone and meditate any chance I could just to feel aligned with who I am & who I wanted to become. It actually felt so good to just close your eyes & meditate in such a beautiful place. After this catamaran sunset sail, I went to my villa & into my bedroom & just looked out the windows where the St Lucian pitons stared back at me… it was in that moment that I knew. This is it. Here is my answer. Nothing was promised before this moment, nothing was mine to keep. In that moment I knew that if I created what my heart desired and what my heart knew best, then nothing or no one in this earth can take it away. So I found myself, there in the little island of Soufriere in a villa on top of a mountain overlooking those gentle giants they call Pitons.
This is how Floating in Paradise was born 💙

Whale Season in Hawaii anyone? 🐋✈️🥂 Whale season in Hawaii starts from as early as November to as late March every year.You can book a tour or simply drive out to the many whale lookouts and see them from there. We did both including fly our drone over them.Maui would be your best option as they are the most active there since they like to hang out between the islands of Maui, Molokai, and Lanai.
