TURKS TIPS #1. Travel to and From: Providenciales International Airport. ✈️

Pros: this airport is only 10 mins from most of the resorts on Grace Bay (Including Beaches Turks and Caicos).
- We got a direct flight from Philly and the flight time was only 2hr 56min!!!
- resorts like Beaches Turks and Caicos offer round trip transportation to and from the airport, included in your price.

Cons: this is a very small airport (right on the island) -weekend arrival and departure can be frustrating: even arriving on a Thursday, we were one of 3 planes that arrived around 12:30pm. We had to wait in the customs line for over an hour, until we finally got through and out to the front to find the Beaches stand for shuttle. (Once outside, we only had to wait 5 mins before boarding the shuttle)
-departure - our resort will take you to the airport 3 hours before plane departure time (at Beaches Turks, each village has its own departure lounge). You will have your luggage outside of your room by a certain time (depending on your flight time) and they will transport it to your Village’s departure lounge. You meet there at time of leaving resort and they take you to the airport.
- our experience leaving was smoother because we purchased a “Fast track pass” ahead of time which allows you to skip through the general security line and into the Fast Track line.
- we were able to get through within 10 mins and then you can either sit downstairs at the airport with some small gift shops and quick food, or you can go upstairs to the 2nd floor where they have a bar/restaurant and an outside flight deck where you can watch planes take off.

*Helpful tip - buying the Fast Track pass must be done before the day of your arrival / departure. We definitely wished we had bought it on the way down, to save that time to get to the resort faster. Weekends are definitely busier, but you really can’t know for certain until you get there, so it’s a gamble either way.

With the location of the resort being so close, it’s a nice feeling to know that even if you are standing in line for a bit, you are only minutes away from an Amazing adventure in paradise 😃. Once you get there, checked in, take a walk around with a drink in hand, and you get that first glimpse of that water, all of your worries wash away 🏝️🏝️🏝️🏝️🏝️

A few pictures from Day 1. The ocean is a bit choppy due to the Hurricane out in the sea but that should calm down starting today. This is a huge resort. Alot to explore. We are staying in Caribbean Village. Overall beautiful and can’t wait to enjoy the Ocean and beach today, and the water park 🏝️🏝️☀️☀️

If you have to work a bit on vacation, at least it’s not a terrible view. Overlooking the Grand Floridian main pool, with the Polynesian Resort in the distance, on the Seven Seas Lagoon! If you look real close, you can even see the EPCOT Ball in the background! Have to keep the clients happy!

📣Plan Ahead with Lightning Lane Entry at Walt Disney World Starting July 24th!!

On July 24, Walt Disney World will introduce new, simpler names to provide more clarity for everyone. Disney Genie+ service will become Lightning Lane Multi Pass, while individual Lightning Lane will now be known as Lightning Lane Single Pass.

Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel and other select hotels (Shades of Green Resort, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels) will be able to plan Lightning Lane passes up to 7 days in advance, for their entire stay (up to 14 days). All other guests can plan up to 3 days in advance.
