Bruce and Gertrude are going jetskiing in Horseshoe Bay. Bruce hired a jetski from Andrew and Ashleigh from Jetski Hire Magnetic Island. Such a lovely young couple.

Bruce and Gertrude are enjoying a day on the water with Tim from horseshoe bay beach hire.
Tim is a very long term Island resident. Tim along with wife Ally also have the Koala hospital, where they look after and rehabilitate injured koalas.

Bruce and Gertrude were going to do the Forts Walk. The Forts Walk is about 2.8km round trip, approximately 1.5 hours depending on your walking speed. The Forts Walk has some amazing lookouts and WW2 gun emplacements . Its a very informative walk. The Forts Walk is also renowned for seeing koalas. Keep looking in the trees or along the ground for the twig arrows that people place to indicate where they have seen them🤗. It is also another great place to see a sunset or sunrise from the two towers that are at the top of the walk.

They were going to do the Forts Walk but it looked like it might rain!

Bruce and Gertrude went to Adeles cafe this morning. Great place to get a coffee and delicious Gelati. Just at the busstop at horseshoe bay.

A sophisticated evening out at The Barefoot Restaurant and Gallery, another of Horseshoe Bay's long established eating and drinking spots

Bruce took Gertrude out for a romantic dinner to Barefoot restaurant last night. They had a glorious time. Watching the sunset. Plenty of delicious food and cocktails, followed by a romantic walk along the beach under the stars.
Bruce was wearing Ripcurl denim shorts with a Rusty luxury escapes tee and topped off with Rusty whale killer cord longsleeve shirt to keep the cool air off his arms.

A quiet morning at home where we live, Island Fever in Horseshoe Bay, the activities capital of The Rock, directly opposite the stupendous beach, renowned for it's sunsets, stinger net (and Island Fever have full body suits and Rashies available also) and size...3.2km of fabulous sandy beach and never crowded. Sometimes size does matter!😎🤪😂

Bruce and Gertrude stopped on the way to work to but a sunset tour with Craig at Magnetic Island Sea Kayak Tours. They are just hoping the drizzle goes away and the sun comes out to make it spectacular, as it was last night. An amazing tour with friendly people. Staying on the island do yourself a favour and book with Craig.
