@eclypsedemar hotel in Bocas is an excellent entry level choice for those looking for an over the water bungalow experience.
Prices vary depending on the season but you should plan to spend $300-$600 per night
The hotel has a strong sustainability focus and so there is no power from 10am until 6p when most guests are out exploring the island. If this is a problem for you then you should book an alternative property.
Also be warned there is a club on the other side of town that plays loud music until early morning. I found the noise to carry into the rooms so If you are a light sleeper I’d suggest something else.
Let me know what you think in the comments. Would you stay here?

The Omicron variant is very quickly changing travel requirements.
Case in point: in the USA, the CDC is reportedly considering a move to shorten the timeline for required testing from 72 hrs to 24 hrs. If/when this change goes into effect, individuals traveling to the USA will be required to present a negative Covid test result, taken no more than 24 hours before the fight departure time! 😩
Depending on where you traveled to, this reduced timeline may be make testing more challenging!
Let’s hope that the CDC continues to permit Antigen/Rapid tests for entry into the USA. If so, then I strongly recommend that you purchase #binaxnow test kits for your upcoming international travel. The kits approved for international travel can be found on FSA or eMed stores.
Watch the video to learn more about the kits and use this link to learn more about the EUA and expiration dates.
