The Naga architect. Pass down to us by our ancestors.
The Nagas lives on hilly regions and mountains slopes as a safety spot to avoid the headhunting enemies..
Now no longer practice but to this days many prefers to build their homes in the same kind of spots in slopy lands.

A Naga kitchen at Chuyo Noknyu Village on Kahpap Aorea (Festival) also known as the New Year festival of the olden days after the harvest is over there were no January February in those days. And this is a time of prayer for prosperity, wealth, good health etc in Cultivating the new Jhum fields. The meats in those bamboo ropes are taken to one's Uncle (mother's brother ) and the uncle prays for blessings and prosperity to be bestowed upon their nieces and nephews. One's Mother brother (Uncle) are considered and known as the Second God (Chong Pu Yun Gan ) in Chuyo Culture.

The journey to Chuyo Naga village, earlier there was a traditional wooden bridge but was washed away by the heavy rainfalls, still then the Naga villagers continued to reached their destinations without any intervention of another state or government. Proving the Indian and the Burmese government that the Naga people don't necessarily need/depend on them. The bridge would be soon built again by the villagers alone.

free Nagas and free Naga Land we are much better without you !!..
