We're back! It's been a while since we posted but we were busy last weekend with an Tionol Oirthear Chorcai coming along on a tour of the Clockgate with us as Gaeilge! We really enjoyed ourselves as did our group of visitors who came from all around the country to gather together and celebrate the Irish language.

Youghal Celebrates history are a voluntary group dedicated to preserving and promoting the unique heritage of the town of Youghal.

This year celebrates the 16th Annual Conference of Youghal Celebrates History.

They will be exploring the Manor of Inchiquin and the surrounding area. The castle is rare now in Ireland- a round tower castle.

There are amazing local stories and legends associated with it. Today it is situated on a quiet country lane but it was once a dynamic centre for the manor of Inchiquin.

A memorable weekend will be had as they bring Inchiquin to life.

Happy Feet Walking tours were delighted to welcome County Tipperary Museum Group to Youghal today. After a tour at Youghal Clockgate Tower they came along with us to St Marys Collegiate Church and took our walking tour of the town. We really enjoyed sharing the history of Youghal with such friendly and knowledgeable people. We hope you will come back another day to hear some more of our stories ! Thank you all for coming to our town
