Are you ready for a relaxing day during your Walt Disney World Vacation? And YES!! You can relax on a non park day during your visit! Here’s how:

Most resorts offer FREE Activities, so that you can enjoy some down time from the hustle and bustle of the day. (I still love the hustle and bustle of the parks lol) Other activities are available for an additional fee but are so worth it!!

1) Movies Under the Stars-most resorts at WDW offer Disney movies each night, weather permitting, so that everyone can have a relaxing evening together. Some resorts may move the screenings indoors if the weather is not perfect.

2) Surprise Character Visits-I was actually able to track down Goofy and Donald at Old Key West during the 50th Anniversary in their gold and purple outfits!! Its was definitely a fun experience!

3) Yoga Sessions-picture yourself by the water as the suns is rising on a picture perfect day. Yoga sessions are available for both adults and children.

4) Learn About a Different Culture-at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, where you can be immersed into the beautiful African culture from the food to the art and more!

The 2024 Eat to the Beat Concert Series is returning to Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival this Fall!! This is a FREE CONCERT that is included with your theme park ticket to Epcot during the Food and Wine Fest, and the dates are from Aug 29th - Nov 18th! With performances each night from local Florida bands to Latin performers to Christian bands to World Famous names and bands, I’m sure there is a someone you’d love to see! Disney has announced a new way to vacation at the Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts!

On July 24, Walt Disney World will introduce new, simpler names to provide more clarity for everyone. Disney Genie+ service will become Lightning Lane Multi Pass, while individual Lightning Lane will now be known as Lightning Lane Single Pass.

When you purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you can make up to 3 Lightning Lane selections in a theme park, in advance of your visit. You’ll also be able to choose available times as you make your selections. On the day of your visit, once you use your first selection, you can check the My Disney Experience app for availability to make an additional selection.

Lightning Lane Single Pass will work much like it does today, where you can secure a time to ride one of the most highly demanded attractions, but now you will be able to make that purchase and plan in advance.

Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel and other select hotels like Shades of Green Resort, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, will be able to plan Lightning Lane passes up to 7 days in advance, for their entire stay (up to 14 days). All other guests can plan up to 3 days in advance, like those staying off Disney grounds. These advance purchase windows will let guests secure some of their must-do rides and experiences after they've had some time to decide what dining reservations they want to book and any other plans they may need to consider.
