In April 2024, the DOT issued new rules with significant changes in how airlines must handle customer refunds for flight cancellations, delays, and other disruptions.

All customers are now entitled to automatic refunds of their original payment when an airline cancels a flight for any reason.

Any “significant change” now entitles passengers to a refund—and, for the first time, there’s a set standard for what that means.

Additionally, passengers with a disability can get a refund if an airline changes a flight to include a different airport or aircraft that is less accessible.

Airlines must also refund bag fees if they don’t deliver customers’ checked luggage within a certain time from the flight’s arrival.

There are also strict requirements for when an airline must process and send refunds to customers: 7 business days for credit card payments, and 20 business days for other methods of payment.

HONESTY AND TRANSPARENCY IS THE WAY TO GO!!!

HappiTravel is amazing. However, it's not perfect. Is every deal 20%-80% off? No. Can you book a hotel, flight, cruise, AirBnB, etc at the same price on a retail site? Absolutely.

But here's what sets HappiTravel apart from everything else out there. First and foremost, it's not one of those "things" where you pay a monthly fee to get access to these incredible deals. In other words, it's not a product that gets marked up 5x-10x to pay others who are promoting it. It's the unicorn in the industry where society can actually save money over anywhere else they book travel without any catches, gotchas, or nonsense.

Consumers who go on vacation and are flexible with the place they're staying at (3,4, and 5 stars), won't be able to beat the deals they find on HappiTravel.

HappiTravel has all the same stuff. My ultimate goal is to help change the travel industry. I want to be a part of something historic. The only way I know how to do that is help the masses see the games the large travel corporations are playing with your money. The ones who take the time to watch a video like the one I'm posting will thank me and realize we are doing something here that is benefiting the greater good. It is us versus them. This is the travel version of Occupy Wall Street.

For anyone who questions intentions or motivations, I will be making a post tomorrow morning that could have an impact on the future of direct sales. That's how significant and impactful it could potentially be. It will include something that nobody in the history of direct sales has ever done before. Stay tuned.

I HAVE A SECRET TO SHARE!!!

If you're looking to stay at Secrets, the secret to saving money is to not book through Secrets (Hyatt site). It doesn't matter which one. All you need to do is look at the savings apples to apples (see screenshots) you can experience with HappiTravel. If you're a bit skeptical and shocked by what you see, I can totally relate. We were blown away and scratching our heads when we saved $611/night over the Hyatt site at Secrets Maroma Beach this past Christmas. It was an exhilarating and surreal experience to save that kind of money.

FACTS: A website is a website. The price is the price. Any other opinions or judgments of how you discovered that website and that price are white noise. The black and white data never lies.

Independent and critical thinkers don’t allow societal norms and others opinions stop them from making obvious common sense decisions.

For instance, we saved $745/night off all the retail travel sites (apples to apples) at a top 10 All-Inclusive resort in the world last Christmas. How? Because we are independent thinkers and pay attention to the data. We don’t let societal norms dictate our decisions.
