Good afternoon Redcliffe!!

Wow, it's been a crazy couple of weeks but it's been fantastic to meet new people and be there to give new experiences to the young and the young at heart.

What sprouted as an idea over a few beers turned into an overwhelming response that quite frankly, we were unprepared for. So many people wanted to see the Christmas lights by boat and unfortunately we were not able to cater for everybody.

For those who tried to come on board but we couldn't fit in, thankyou for supporting us and we apologise for not being able to take you to see the wonderful lights on the canals.

For those who came on board, it was great to meet you and we hope you had a wonderful time.

For those who we didn't get back to... we are truly sorry, there has a lot going on in the background that I'm not really prepared to elaborate on, but our small admin team has taken a few knocks over the last couple of weeks and I haven't had the time to pick up the slack admin wise. But we've heard you, we've taken feedback on board, and we will be back next year bigger and better with a booking system, proper preparation, and even a fantastic competition for participants of the Christmas lights on the canals to show our appreciation for their efforts.

To show our appreciation for the support from the local community, I have contacted the page admins and donated a Coles voucher to a local in need. We didn't want to know who received it, nor did we want to decide who received it, so we have passed on the voucher and the RPC benevolent fund has identified someone who deserves a bit of Christmas cheer.

Thankyou to all, and we hope to meet many more of you next year to experience what truly is one of Redcliffe's little known delights.

We are proper back on deck!!!

After a couple of well deserved days off we are moving forward with this and making stuff happen!!

Rest assured, everyone who has contacted us with a date and time still has that time locked in. Our tardiness in administration has only been due to our workload but we are now free as birds and proud to share Newport's Christmas lights spectacular.

For those that have messaged and not provided a contact email, please reconnect with those details so we can send some important information to you.

Evening guys,

We are working on getting in touch with everyone that has contacted us wanting to experience the magnificent Christmas lights of Newport.

We are a small family business that has other commitments in the fishing/ marine industry and are currently involved in an interstate project that is working our one person admin team pretty hard.

We have cleared our December calendar to make sure the Christmas lights happen but in the meantime we have commitments elsewhere. This is why we promoted this idea with a good lead time, to give us and you a chance to line things up to give everyone the best time possible.

This will be a great thing!!!!

If we don't get back to you straight away, don't worry, we will!!!

We love Redcliffe and we look forward to putting our beautiful waterfront Christmas lights on the map.

Please be patient, it's a very busy time.

Newport Christmas Lights Adventures is committed to providing a safe and fun experience for everybody who joins us for a tour. We operate out of the beautiful Redcliffe Peninsula in our 6.5m AMSA certified survey vessel with Master 5 qualified skippers to ensure your experience is enjoyed with a emphasis on fun but with an focus on safety.

Leaving from our dedicated pontoon in Newport Marina you can assured of a waveless experience, taking in the delights of the Christmas light spectacular that is on display from dedicated waterfront residents.

You will be welcomed aboard by Pete or Shane, greeted with a smile, and after a quick briefing we will be on our way, listening to your choice of music and enjoying your cold BYO refreshments out of our ice filled provided eskies. Complimentary bottled water is available for your time on board.

Please note that due to Australian Maritime Safety Authority regulations you will be required to provide some personal details whilst aboard, these details will be dealt with in the strictest confidence and disposed of responsibly at the end of your time with us.

All safety equipment is provided, and whilst it is not compulsory for children to wear lifejackets due to the size of our vessel, we encourage them to do so during their time on board.

Two tours are available each night, one leaving at 6.30pm and another at 8pm, however earlier and later tours are available by request.

We can cater for groups of up to six adults on board, however children under 12 can be considered to be half an adult, so four adults and four children is certainly something we can cater for. We cannot and will not overload the vessel, so please be up front with your requirements to avoid disappointment on the night. We do have access to other vessels, so if you have a larger group we will certainly try to accommodate your needs.

Hire the boat for your group for $300 to enjoy with family and friends, or spots are available for $50 per adult and $25 per child to embrace the Christmas spirit with other locals.
