A massive blanket of snow has fallen across the Portes du Soleil and we’ve spent the morning enjoying some fresh lines!

Right on the piste, excellent service and delicious food. It’s all you could want from a mountain restaurant ⭐️

At this point we’ve probably tried half the menu but we’re aiming to have completed it by the end of the season!🍴

This weekend, Avoriaz partially opened its slopes, 2 weeks ahead of the planned opening date!

Thanks to the excellent early snowfall and the hard work of the mountain teams, we spent our weekend riding some of our favourite runs.

Mont Caly at sunset 🌄

Less than 10 minutes drive from Finber Lodge is one of the best views across Les Gets’ valley. This evening, we were treated to a stunning view of Mont Blanc glowing with a pink hue.

As we descended and the sunset intensified, the sky came alive with colour before setting perfectly behind the chalet. What a treat for the eyes 🤩

A small medieval town on the edge of Lac Leman (most commonly known as lake Geneva) Yvoire is only an hours drive from Finber Lodge but it feels like you’re worlds away from the mountains!

With old winding streets and gorgeous buildings wrapped in climbing ivy, Yvoire is a great day out when you’re looking for a dramatic change of scenery.

We strolled through the town, enjoyed a lakeside coffee and a crepe and soaked up the serene atmosphere - a 10/10 day out!
