Shared Tour- Wieliczka Salt Mine
🇭🇺 Legend has it that the salt mines in Wieliczka were part of the dowry of the Hungarian princess, Kinga, when she wed Boleslaw the Shy over seven hundred years ago, making the Wieliczka Salt Mine one of the oldest in Europe. Over the centuries, devout and superstitious, miners have carved fabulous figures, monuments, and altarpieces out of its salt walls. These amazing works of art, in addition to the mine's historical importance, have earned the Wieliczka Salt Mine a place on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage list. The route through the mine leads through galleries and chambers on three levels, from 64 to 135 meters below the ground, including the unique and richly ornamented Chapel of St. Kinga. The route is 2.5 km long, and the group has to walk down four hundred steps. The last stop in the mine is the souvenir shop and snack bar. From here, a lift carries the group back to the surface.

🇬🇧 One of London’s most chilling chapters—still cloaked in mystery and speculation—is the infamous string of brutal murders that terrorized Whitechapel in 1888. Jack the Ripper prowled the streets, claiming the lives of at least five victims between August and November of that year. The killings ended as abruptly as they began, but not because the killer was caught—his (or perhaps her) identity remains a mystery to this day. Visitors to London can retrace the steps of Jack the Ripper’s victims and explore the dark stories and theories surrounding the murderer’s identity on this captivating and spine-chilling tour.

🚎 Jack the Ripper & Haunted London on a Luxury Coach Evening Tour. Travel back in time on a luxury coach, and walk through an empty Smithfield market, home to the cock-lane Ghost. Then retrace the murder sites of Jack the Ripper, before heading to the safety of the Sherlock Holmes Pub.

🚎 Open top drive through sinister and haunted London: Step aboard our vintage open top bus to begin our journey through the dark and haunted streets of London. Hear tales of the legends buried at Westminster Abbey and see the banqueting house where Charles I was beheaded, a relatively common punishment for crime at the time. Your expert guide will explain how the executioners, who worked regularly in front of large crowds at Tower Hill which we will also see, would often raise the severed head showing it off to the crowd and that would often continue to twitch for several seconds after the brutal blows. We then travel to the Old Bailey – the site of numerous public hangings, the Royal London Hospital where the Elephant Man lived, and hear tales of Mrs Lovett’s pie shop with her speciality fillings, the butcherous barber who lived next door and who would cut off more than just your hair; gangland warfare, great train robbers and more.

Ghost walk through Smithfield Market: Stay close to our guide as we walk through a deserted Smithfield market and the surrounding cobbled streets. You’ll see the William Wallace plaque where Braveheart was tortured and learn of the 19th century body snatchers who dug up local cemeteries ‘in the interests of science.’ Two of the most famous snatchers, John Bishop and Thomas Williams, were hanged at Newgate prison in front of several thousand boisterous Londoners. Then listen out for the scratching sounds of F***y Lynes, the C**k Lane ghost, and hear her true story of death, s*x, loan sharking, arsenic poisoning and seances. It all took place 250 years ago and has troubled the nation ever since.

Jack the Ripper: As the shadows lengthen, we approach London’s East End, a hotbed of crime and vice in the 19th century. During the autumn of 1888, terror struck when Jack the Ripper came out of the fog and dimly lit alleys just long enough to stalk and butcher his five victims. At this point we leave the safety of the bus and walk his death trail inspecting the murder sites, deciphering the evidence and discussing his suspects. To this day the case remains unsolved. Come and investigate the case for yourself – who was Jack the Ripper?

Then join us in the warmth of the Sherlock Holmes Pub. The pub also boasts a wide collection of the investigators memorabilia. Feeling hungry? The pub also has a wide variety of meals including a traditional fish and chip supper on offer which can be purchased from the bar.

🇮🇪 Glasnevin Cemetery, Ireland’s national and largest cemetery, has been a resting place for over 1.5 million souls since it opened in 1832. Cemeteries offer a unique connection to the afterlife—a solemn reminder of both mortality and history. There’s something eerie yet peaceful about these sacred grounds, and Glasnevin is no exception. It’s the final resting place of some of Ireland’s most iconic figures, and it’s home to a beautiful Victorian garden and the world’s largest collection of Celtic crosses. Even its resident ghost has a heartwarming tale—a Newfoundland pup said to haunt the grave of its former ship captain, John McNeill Boyd.

Start in Munich with two nights discovering the sights of the alpine city.
Explore the Marienplatz at the heart of the city and take in the city views from the top of the Town Hall. Uncover the legend behind the Teufelstritt (Devil's Footstep) or take a tour of the renowned Deutsches Museum. Of course, no visit to Munich is complete without a visit to a beer hall! Then take the train through stunning scenery to the Baroque Austrian city of Salzburg.
For an adventure into Austrian beer, you must head for the atmospheric Mullner Brewery - officially known as the Augustiner Braustubel. You can also spend your time visiting the birthplace of Mozart, now a museum dedicated to his life and work. The city's Baroque Old Town is UNESCO World Heritage-listed and dominated by one of the largest medieval castles in Europe.

Take the scenic train ride from Salzburg to Vienna for the final leg of your trip. Be sure to have your camera ready as you pass through some of the most beautiful parts of Austria.

Once in Vienna, spend the days marveling at the Imperial palaces, grand squares and lovely tree-lined boulevards. Much of Viennese cultural life can be found in the Museumsquartier, home to an array of museums, cafes and restaurants within a former imperial stable building. or enjoy an operatic experience at the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), or view the works of famous painters such as Rubens and Raphael at the Kunsthistorisches Museum (Museum of Fine Arts). Take in a performance at the Spanish Riding School home to the famous Lipizzaner horses. Vienna also sits on the banks of the Danube, the perfect spot for a scenic boat cruise!
