As many as 80 stalls will open on Colchester High Street on Sunday, December 11 as visitors look to pick up presents and enjoy a day out, with entry to the market free of charge.

Running from 10am until 5pm, market sellers will be offering Christmas gifts, as well as traditionally festive food and mulled wine.

We are pleased to announce that we will be opening our doors to the public at 5pm Thursday 22nd September! We would like to welcome you to come along and enjoy a drink and complimentary Indian nibbles with a live DJ

Until October we will be serving food Wednesday to Sunday only. Food will be available 12pm till 3pm & 5pm till 10pm, Wednesday to Saturday and 12pm till 7pm Sundays.

You will be able to order from our bar menu or book a table in the Seven Spices Restaurant.

Tables bookings can be made by messaging this page until the 26th September when the phone lines will open.

Remember, roads will be closed today disrupting major routes from 12:55 - 13:55 today.

As shown below, Maldon Road will be closed from The Ship Pub down to Station Road.

Station Road will be entirely closed.

A large proportion of the roads out of Tiptree past Chapel Road and past The Jam Factory will also be closed. The high street remains open but will likely be affected by traffic.
