when visiting , most people hear they need to visit and .
Indeed they are two fabulous places to see (we even saw a baby shark while snorkeling in Maya Bay), but due to the high popularity and advertising, they became overcrowded most of the time.
So, we recommend you to visit the and , which are located on the SE part of the island. You can either take a longboat from the restaurant beach or a nice short walk on the jungle shore. Either way, you will have the best experience of the beautiful island.
Once there, you can snorkel and see a huge variety of fish. If you are not a scuba diver, that is the best place to be. We've seen there so many fish you can only usually find in deeper waters of Thailand, we couldn't believe it.
Bon voyage!

Koh Phi Phi is a special place in this world. If you go to the beach, basically any beach, you will see the abundance of fish. If you start climbing a bit, in any alley, you will have one of the most pleasant views of your life. If you go to the Viewpoint, there is something else.
We went there twice and both times it was extraordinary. We highly recommend the Phuphaya Seaview resort. It offers an extraordinary view of the monkey beach side of the island, it is located high enough not to be affected by any tsunami and the breakfast was decent (not one of the best, but ok).
Note: If you want a more silent place to just sleep, maybe it is a better idea to take a hotel on the opposite side of the H (the one with the port) as close as possible to the Long Beach.

We feel like it is time for a confession. After visiting many places on the planet, each of them special, one of our absolute favorite is .
There are many beautiful places in Asia, fantastic views and extraordinary people. But in all our travels, being scuba and marine life addicts, probably the #1 place we would return anytime is Phi Phi Don.
After being devastated by the 2004 tsunami, the island recovered incredibly well and is now once again the pearl of the Andaman Sea.

Highly recommended. DM us with your opinions regarding it or your own favorite places on the planet, and we will share it in the future.

As we were mentioning in a previous post, one of the musts, when you , is that you try the Champagne. And now we have a secret. If you rent a car, you can take a short ride to Reims. It is less than 150km away and it is considered the Mecca of Champagne. It is located over a 250km length area of caves, full of millions of bottles of the famous drink. At the surface, the landscape is sublime, full of vineyards with the special grapes.
You can also take a tour inside the factories and see how champagne is made and also have a taste of what they are producing. It will be much cheaper than you expect and the experience is unforgettable.

When there are a few things you need to try when it comes to local beverages and cuisine. You have to try a glass of french wine, one of champagne and one of the artisanal cider.
For we will dedicate a special post next days. The others you can try at a or .
So, of course, we would suggest you try combining the two at a special launch or dinner.
When it comes to food, we have to make 3 suggestions that we tried and think everyone should live the experience. First, you should try the traditional , and then we strongly suggest you try the kebap you can find anywhere and also the all you can eat Chinese restaurants.
No kidding, you should try these last two. They will save you a lot of time and money and they are really tasty.
However, our suggestion for today is you have to visit the Crêperie du Marché à Versailles. It is located in the Boheme square close to the Versailles Palace, that has that special something that makes you want to spend hours and hours just admiring and enjoying everything around you.

Most people who visit Paris also go to the Chateau de Versailles. Less people know about the Chateau de Fontainebleau, which once served as a residence of Napoleon Bonaparte himself. Take a journey back in time and see over 800 years of history with your own eyes. The palace is located at only 55 kilometers (34 miles) southeast of the center of Paris and the full price tickets are only 12 EUR, so why would you miss the chance of experiencing it?

we strongly advise you to purchase the .
But why should I pay for it, you might ask.
The answer is simple. For saving time and money. It includes free public transportation, free access to 1 or 2 museums or archeological sites (depending on 48h or 72h pass) at your choice in a long list, great discounts to all other museums and sites in that long list. Additionally, you will save so much time by skipping the long queues that all non-RomaPass visitors have to endure. It took us about 5 minutes to enter the Colosseum and Foro Romano while there were people waiting for hours at the normal queue.
One other thing that might sound funny but it's very useful, it grants you free access to all public toilets in the city. We did not know that the first time we visited and it was hell :)

Word of advice: Carefully choose the moment you activate yours, and take into consideration the museums visiting hours. is not included, so make sure you don't waste one day of your Roma Pass trying to use it there.
Additional advice: You might want to visit and the at once. This time you will only use one free visit for 2 very impressive sites.

The church of Santa Maria della Concezione is located near Palazzo Barberini in Rome. It is a mesmerizing experience visiting it because it has numerous works of art such as Conception by Gioacchino Bombelli. There is also a museum inside the covent, Museum of the Capuchin Friars Minor of the Roman Provence, in which Capuchin’s works of art, documents and liturgical object. Also, in the basement there is the ancient Capuchin cemetery, which is also known as the Crypt. It has five chapels where lays the bodies of about 4000 friars. The skulls and bones are used in order to decorate the Crypt, and according to tradition, it has holy land transported from Palestine and Jerusalem.

can also be a culinary enriching experience. Everybody knows pasta, or pizza which the Italians are so famous for. But, as you may well know, other countries took the basic from the Italians and adapted it to their own preferences and local tastes.
you should absolutely try the local pizza, pasta and gelato. But where should you go to actually feel the full intense atmosphere that Rome has to offer? No matter the budget, we highly recommend you eat at least once in the Roman workers class neighborhood, .
It’s close to the and on the one side, and it goes all the way down to the opposite side of the Tiber river from and .
When stepping inside, it feels like a different world. You forget all about the large boulevards and traffic areas and simply enjoy the traditional Italian neighborhood with its close buildings and romantic narrow streets, that will take you back hundreds of years. You can find many small ristoranti that welcome you in, with their customary family warmth and serve you or exactly as the locals eat it. Careful not to get there too early, as they are set on the local eating schedule and open somewhere between 6 and 7 PM local time.
Buon appetito!
