White peacocks are not albinos. They actually have a genetic mutation that is known as Leucism, which causes the lack of pigments in the plumage. A white peacock is technically a genetic variant of the Indian Blue Peafowl.

Welcome to our Airbnb

Peter & Pearl’s home is located in Sarasota, Florida, United States.

Within the neighborhood we have The Ringling Museum of Art, Jungle Gardens and the Marietta Museum of Art & Whimsy. A 5 minute walk South is Wicked Cantina, a great locally owned and operated 'Austin Style' Tex Mex and 5 more minutes South of there is The Reserve; a B & B/Coffee Shop/Bookstore that serves beer & wine and often has live music on the weekends. The apartment is also a 10 minute walk from the renowned Ringling School of Art & Design. A 10 minute walk North West will take you to the locals sunset spot, where on any given night you can find residents and students from the college enjoying a sundowner and maybe some hula hooping or playing music.

Getting around

Driving here is easy and we can provide information on the best routes and parking. Uber is very readily available, the most we've waited to date has been 6 minutes, generally it's 3 or 4 so don't call until you're ready! We can also arrange bikes and kayaks for you.
