I was so surprised on my recent Disney Wish sailing to find out all Oceaneer Club (& nursery) band rentals are now MagicBand+.
Why do we care???
A few reasons -
1. Rental cost for these is $25 versus the $15 before. So if one gets misplaced you’re out more money!
2. Unlike the parks, these bands DO have to be charged for use in the clubs. This means remembering to charge them and extra charging needs in your room.
I used to recommend just renting the bands, but now it’s really smarter to purchase your own for a few reasons. You can likely get them cheaper on sale at the Disney Store website and also buying in advance will allow you to have different designs for each of your kiddos. Or if you already have one of these bands at home, make sure to throw them in your suitcase!
