Breaking news from Disney! ✨

Walt Disney World’s Fastpass+ and Disneyland’s MaxPass will not be returning to the parks. Instead, let us welcome the new DisneyGenie and DisneyGenie+ 🧞‍♂️. This will offer these replacement options:

Base-level DisneyGenie will offer complimentary itineraries and more to optimize your park days.

Upgrade to DisneyGenie+ for “Lightning Lane” access to lower tier attractions, one selection at a time for $15 per-person per day at Walt Disney World and $20 per-per per day at Disneyland. Very similar to Disneyland’s MaxPass. One ride at a time, as many as you want/can ride, one price. Some of these rides are the Haunted Mansion, Millennium Falcon, BigThunder Mountain Railroad and many more.

There will also be a 3rd, optional, pay-per-play upgrade that will allow guests to book “Lightning Lane” access for up to two higher tier attractions per day. Cost and availability for this third option will vary by day, time, and attraction.

The rest of the DisneyGenie service will be available for free through My Disney Experience and will offer complimentary services like forecasted wait times, personalized itineraries, a virtual assistant and more.

Fireworks Spectaculars Are Back at Disney Parks This Summer!

At Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, July 1 marks the start of nightly fireworks performances at Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT. “Happily Ever After” will transform Cinderella Castle with lights, projections and pyrotechnics, as moments from favorite Disney stories encourage Guests to grab hold of their dreams and make them come true. And as part of the ongoing transformation of EPCOT, “EPCOT Forever” will produce a spectacle of fireworks, music and lighting effects over World Showcase Lagoon, highlighting the themes of innovation, exploration, imagination and celebration at the core of the park’s past, present and future.

Huge news out of Walt Disney World and Universal Studios! The mask policy now leaves masks optional outdoors. They still must be worn in line for rides, on all transportation, and indoors. This is a step towards normal and I’m so excited!

I wish I was celebrating today in Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge! Let’s talk about Galaxy’s Edge. This is the most immersive experiences ever! You get to ride the Millennium Falcon, visit Batuu and it’s village Black Spire Outpost for some shopping and blue milk, and even escape Kylo Ren on Rise of the Resistance (if you can get a boarding pass 😂)

I love visiting Batuu so much. I really feel like I’m in the movies and I don’t even know what my favorite part is! What’s your favorite part of Galaxy’s Edge? And are you team blue milk or green milk? I’m team green!
