International Desert Tortoise Day! What a terrific day. Bought a home with a new pet... He's been ruminating pretty much since I moved in. Today's the first day we have had to meet the new pet.

What's your favorite pet? Recently a Desert Tortoise has joined the family. He likes eating strawberries and having it's shell scratched. Amazingly agile and easy to keep in an outdoor enclosure.
I'll let you know as the adventures of super tortoise developers.

My girlfriends son is graduating highschool today. My own high school graduation was many years ago. That day marked the boundary between childish dreams and the pursuit of life time goals. May today's graduates find dreams to carry them thru their lifetime.

One of my dogs attacked my other dog. Alvin an older Border Collie was attacked by Riley a German shepherd we recently adopted from the pound.
Alvin and Riley were together about six months. They got along well
About 10 days ago I was petting Riley and Alvin walked up rubbing his head on my leg. He wanted to be petted too.
I was petting Riley with one hand and Alvin with the other hand. When Alvin turned to walk away Riley leaped on him taking him to the floor by the throat.
I grabbed Riley's colar trying to separate her from Alvin.
Riley bit me twice, the leg wound was the worse. It is now infected and I'm in Centennial Hills Hospital on IV antibiotics.
I'm not sure how long I'll be in the hospital. Of course it comes at the worst possible time... There is never a good time to be in the hospital.
I'll be attending the D115 Conference tomorrow online.
