I’ve wanted to launch a cruise line since I was 27 years old. At first, I wanted to create a cruise-line for under 30-year-olds, but I didn’t have the money. Then it became a cruise line for under 50-year-olds, but I still didn’t have the money. When we finally had the money to bring Virgin Voyages to life, we ditched the age limits and just said, ‘no kids.’ The reason I had been so adamant about a launching cruise line was because the industry was just so ripe for disruption. Cruising should be great. You get to sail the seas, wake up in a new destination every day, party hard, and relax even harder. So why had cruising fallen so fast out of fashion? Touched down in Antigua on Thursday and it’s been absolute bliss ☀️

The heat is unreal, the hotel is small but beautiful and we have barely moved in 3 days. It’s very quiet here and exactly what we needed.

There are no TVs in the rooms, the only sound is the waves crashing whilst the wine is flowing. Cannot complain at all 🏝️

Considering a destination wedding?! 🤩

On 9th May 2018 we said “I Do” legally in Aruba’s City Hall 💒. 2 days later we had our ceremony with family and friends on the beach, on private island.

May means a lot to me for a few reasons, but every year we look back at the most special 2 days filled with so much love 🫶🏻

I cannot recommend a destination wedding enough. If you’re thinking about it, do it!! The best decision we ever made and was half the price of a UK wedding!

Proud to say I’m now also an Abu Dhabi Specialist✨

I’ve been working really hard to learn more about some previously visited destinations as well as some new ones, which in turn can help me advise you on where to go, why to go and what to do, from different perspectives 😊

The great thing about the UAE is the temperature is pretty consistent all year round, but with Abu Dhabi being a cheaper option than Dubai ☀️

You might not know but there’s stacks of fun for everyone as well as Arabian luxury and culture🐪. From Ferrari World and Warner Bros World to Louvre Abu Dhabi (yep there’s a Louvre museum there!!) and Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque!

Don’t even get me started on the food and shopping 🤩!!

I’m here to do all the boring reading and if I really must, go visit for that first hand feedback 😉

I realised I’ve never actually introduced myself on here!

I’m Charlotte and started CS Travel & Events in June 2023. I came across whilst I was actually on holiday and thought what a great opportunity as I love to travel! I’m late 20s (some say early 30s are late 20s 🤣), married with 1 not so little furbaby 🦁

I have been blessed to have travelled to lots of different places and hoping to reach even more destinations this year! Aruba is my fave and holds a special place in my heart as it’s where I got married 🥰 but I love a long haul beach holiday!!

I mainly started this little business as I wanted to help family with bookings and of course myself but have managed to do bookings for complete strangers through the power of this little page ☺️. On top of that I’ve done so much training and loved every minute of it, even becoming Gold Tier certified as a First Mate!!!

Anyone you book through makes commission, so going to that travel site you always use, there’s built in commission. Booking with me is the same but that’s a little income for a little person, a more personal service and usually better savings for you 😉
