Going to use the full moon this October to hold an experimental investigation I’ve been wanting to do for a long time. The spirits in Parkersburg are particularly transient, and the town particularly haunted - but can we contact & document the same spirits in multiple places on the same night?

Excited to be visiting one of New Zealand’s most haunted stays in a few months. Lady Bowen Bed & Breakfast is over 150 years old, and has formerly served as a hotel, private residence, brothel, and more.

Arrived at Grand Galvez, Galveston Texas for an investigation tonight, on the eve of the November New Moon

Front desk agents immediately reported due to the current renovations, activity is at a high level. Advised us that lights flickering, room keys demagnetizing for no reason, and hearing children’s voices around 3am is considered “the norm”.

Electrical interference is high. When first entering my room, the door flashed green but it would not budge. Phones have been malfunctioning in strange ways. A base EMF reading in the room showed no reason for this interference to be taking place. Expected equipment malfunctions tonight!

BLENNERHASSETT UNCOVERED: THE INVESTIGATION
MARCH 18TH, 2023

The Blennerhassett Hotel & Spa in Parkersburg, West Virginia has long been known as one of the Mountain State’s most haunted locations. However, it wasn’t until 2022 that the hotel launched the Haunted Blennerhassett program, which features monthly ghost tours, investigations, and now - the first ever Appalachian Paranormal Convention. The day convention event will be followed by something unprecedented: a floor wide, professional paranormal investigation.

Blennerhassett Uncovered will be taking place starting on the evening of March 18th at 7:30, and concluding at 3:00am on March 19th. The focus will be on the notoriously active 4th floor. These rooms host stories of a spirit commonly known as “The Bowler Hat Man”, thought to be 1860’s serial killer Joseph Eisele; a woman in white, a hallway statue that has been photographed with orbs, and countless individual accounts of unexplained events.

Throughout the night, you will be guided to other haunted locations within West Virginia’s oldest hotel by professionals in the paranormal field. The investigation will be led by Haunted Blennerhassett founder Adra Johnson, in collaboration with her company M45 Paranormal.

In order to allow the best chance for legitimate evidence, and offer an intimate, memorable experience, this event is not ticketed. The only way to gain access is to reserve a room on the 4th floor.

Room 409 will be open to a spirit session for all participants during the first hour. Afterwards, individuals who reserved “The 409 Solo Experience” will rotate out every 30 minutes for their own unique occurrences.

As of today, there are 12 OUT OF 23 spots remaining for Blennerhassett Uncovered: The Investigation. “The 409 Solo Experience” is SOLD OUT. Call 304-422-3131 and speak to guest services to reserve.

Due to the nature of the event and that participants must sign waivers, Blennerhassett Uncovered is only for adults ages 18+. Minors MUST be accompanied by an adult in the same room, with the understanding that the event is not considered child-friendly.

Participants may be featured on film for promotional material and documentation.

Hotel Galvez is a 4-star beachfront hotel and spa in Galveston, Texas. Weaved in with beauty and luxury is a dark past. Alongside reports of a lovelorn “woman in white” and celebrity spirit encounters, the hotel grounds are allegedly the final resting place of the 10 nuns and 90 children from St. Mary’s Orphan Asylum who tragically drowned in the great 1900 flood.

Someone visibly and audibly walking out of the small, dark room where we stood, but we were all still there when the lights came on. A spirit who acknowledged it being the night of a new moon. A pendulum swinging to the number 4, moments before 4 long, red scratches showed up on someone’s arm.

These are just a few of the experiences from the strange night at Parkersburg’s Dils Center. Reviewing EVP and photo evidence - to be continued.
