Long-tailed Tyrant (Colonia colonus)
Nests and feeds in stumps and dead trees pocked with protruding carpenter holes, fairly well away from other vegetation in moist woodland areas: recent clearings, partially cleared areas, abandoned crops, along watercourses, near openings caused due to falls from trees within the forest or on dry trunks in the upper part of the canopy; catches flying insects in flight, especially stingless bees (Trigona), often after long flights with intricate maneuvers; usually in pairs whose members perch on nearby perches on exposed branches or twigs.
