Traditional meets modern for the perfect getaway at Aghadaghly Cottage. Get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy a relaxing stay in this recently renovated house. Taking you back to authentic Ireland (with some modern touches) you are sure to be provided with a tranquil experience. Perfect for cosy getaways or family trips, reconnect with yourself and those around you. With beautiful nature walks at hand and only one and a half miles from Portsalon beach this house offers the perfect spot.
Downstairs there is an open plan, fully equipped kitchen and living area with multi fuel stove and smart TV that is sure to provide a cosy and relaxing stay. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms - one room with a small double (and smart tv), one with custom made single bunks and the third a larger room with triple bunks (also has a smart tv). There is also a stair gate at the top and bottom of the stairs. A travel cot and high chair can also be provided upon request. A small bathroom with shower, toilet and wash hand basin is also located on the upstairs.
The house is situated on a large site with spacious grounds. It is surrounded by beautiful mature trees which have 2 rope swings attached to them, gaelic nets and outdoor seating. With beautiful nature walks at hand this house is also conveniently located one mile from the crossroads and local shop. (Bear in mind this walk does have some hills that might prove a little tiring for some children to carry out). Portsalon beach is only a mile and a half away and The Stores Bar a little further at just under 2 miles.

- Drumnacraig beach - 10/15 minute drive
- Great Pollet Sea Arch - 10minute drive
- Downings - 30 minute drive

Other points to note:
Please note, phone signal can be weak in some areas of the house. Although it can be received, if you do like to spend lots of hours on your phone this cottage may not be for you. The house does have Wi-Fi though so connection with the outside world is still attainable (if desired 😉).
This house is also not for parties, proms, hen or stag groups or any groups of teenagers only. A maximum of 7 people only are permitted to stay on the house and grounds.
A €150/£150 non refundable booking deposit is payable immediately in order to secure your booking. This also acts as your breakage deposit and then becomes fully refundable if no damage has occurred after your stay. This will be repaid within 48hours after departure. The total costs of your stay are to be paid 2 days prior to arrival.(Please note, at this point it will be the full cost of your trip you will be paying for). Guests are expected to respect the property and keep it clean and tidy. There is a strict no smoking and no pet policy. The damage deposit will be forfeited if this, along with the maximum occupancy rules are not adhered to.
