A quick peek at Kalkan Harbour. The harbour strip is bustling with beautiful restaurants, bars and if you go up one street higher, there are boutiques, carpet shop, handbags and leather goods and galleries. We'll worth a strole.

Fancied a Turkish Breakfast out this morning instead of our usual cereals. Popped up to Yasmin Bazaar Cafe up by the Mosk near the market as you drive into town. It has a laid back vibe so everyone is welcome. I met the lady herself who has brilliant English so don't be put off asking about what's on the menu. My omelette was light and tasty. We'll worth a visit if you can. X

One to add to your restaurant list. With many years experience, as we first met some of the team along Kalkan marina ⛵ working in a top class eatery, Antioch is a new addition to the amazing array of the old town's restaurants. Beautifully renovated roof terrace offers relaxed and friendly surroundings. Their twist is a Southern Turkey influence from their home towns, so some of the dishes aren't what you would expect to find here. The flavours were amazingly tasty and the ingredients was fresh and local. Good luck with your new venture!

Menemen is a traditional Turkish breakfast. Full of goodness and will set you up for the day. Tomatoes, scrambled eggs, peppers and onion with a few secret spices, served with bread, olives and a side garnish. Beautifully tasty! A must have when you visit Turkey

This is one of our favourites shops Melissa Outlet run by the very knowledgeable Coskun Kucukkaya. It's full to the brim of well know designer brands catering for men, women and a select range of children's. Well worth a visit up from Black and Gold Cocktail Bar street no.2 Kalkan Old Town. I love lazy early mornings sitting on our 1st floor balcony with my first coffee. The sun is slowly coming up so the air is cool and all you can hear are the birds and the pool water gurgling.

Such a lovely place to chill at the Kalube Hotel Beach Club and it's only around the corner from Bella Luna. Actually you can see the entrance from our balconies. They serve delicious lunches and cocktails as well. 🤤💯

Whilst in lockdown I thought I'd add a few pictures from the Kulube Hotel beach facilities. It's a short walk from the villa and you can see it from our pool terrace. For a small charge you can rent a sunbed and umbrella for the day and they have an outdoor restaurant, toilet, shower and changing cubicle for your convenience. An ideal place for chilling and having a relaxing swim.
