Knotting Hill Bake House, everyone is going to love the wood fired sauna! Sleeping 12, with cinema room and incredible outdoor kitchen it’s going to be a fun project. Local history for . Poppys at Knotting Hill. The Woods were used during WW2 to store munitions for RAF Melton 3 miles up the road. The airfield was one of few used to prepare aircraft for overseas operations particularly in the Far East. The real hero’s of the base were the lady ATA pilots who with no real training flew the aircraft into be refitted then off to operations. They were given an instruction book and told to get on with it!! America aircraft also made the trip across the Atlantic and were prepped for operations as well. Local heroes. 🌹

Knotting Hill Barn House

Knotting Hill is the off- grid cabin in the woods that you have always dreamed of owning. Set in its own eleven acres of woodland this is a private space where you can escape into fantasy, for a little while at least!

The cabin lies in a completely private setting amidst, elegant silver birch, oak, cherry and chestnut trees. The wood is home to an abundance of wildlife, pheasants, squirrels, muntjack, red kites the occasional mink. You may even be befriended by resident ducks Phillis and Doris. Carpeted with bluebells in the spring and wildflowers in the summer the wood becomes your own natural haven.

Our wild swimming lake has a pontoon and canoes for you to enjoy. The lake is well stocked with fish, bring your rod and enjoy but please catch and return, don’t catch and eat!
