Pizzas on the Piste 2024

What a night! 45 people in 20 overland vehicles from far and wide came together in the Moroccan desert for an evening swapping stories, making new friends and eating pizza!
-
Awesome location and great views of the Milky way and the Atlas Comet really set the event off to its best.
-
As always a huge thank you to everyone who attended and made the event what it is. Without your support we couldn’t do this

Only 3 weeks to go until this years Pizzas on the Piste. 👍

Next week we will scout a new location as our planned one has been caught with the flooding🙄 But it will be within 4 hours of Zagora/Foum Zguid

Pizzas orders will go live on the 1st October. We do a limited number of pizzas so get your order in quick. They are €10 each which covers our costs to dragging ovens etc half the length of the country and buying ingredients!

Following the recent flooding in the south of Morocco, we are delighted to announce our new range of luxury cruises.

After cocktails at Ricks Bar, we depart from Casablanca, we sail slowly down the Atlantic coast stopping in Agadir to visit the casinos.

Just north of Tantan our ship will turn inland along the Draa River culminating in a stop on Lac Iriki to see those amazing desert sunsets over Erg Chegaga.

This is a once in a lifetime time opportunity and places are in exceptionally high demand.

Mauritania - Search for the Desert Crocodiles

10 Weeks until we start our brand new tour
-
29th October to 11th November (meet in Dakhla on the 27th October or join us at Pizzas on the Piste on the 19th)
-
Open to all. Vehicles must have a minimum 1000km fuel range, good quality off road tyres, full recovery gear (compressor, recovery boards, straps etc). you must be self sufficient for food water etc for 7 days in the desert.
-
14 days from Dakhla back to Dakhla giving 2 days for border crossing and 12 days exploring Mauritania.
-
We will drive the Iron Ore Train Piste and visit the Eye of Africa before turning south to search for the Desert Crocodiles. The route then turns west towards the Atlntice coast and Nouakchott. from here we follow the coast north vositing the Banc D’Arguin national park before returning to Morocco.

This is a Recce trip so plans may change as we travel, but thats all part of the adventure.
