Manatees, sometimes known as "sea cows," play an essential role in the ecosystems in which they lives. They aid in fertilizer runoff and the oxygen cycle by eating seaweed—up to 100 pounds per day. Human activities and environmental changes threaten their very existence. Nevertheless, there is a glimmer of hope! 🌍💂A change is being made in Florida's Manatee Lagoon in terms of efforts to educate and safeguard these adorable and amiable animals.
