Recently we have had a number of our "group" members looking for travel companions within Traveling Seniors group.
We sincerely hope everyone can achieve their travel goals as partnering with people of like interest can be challenging.
If you are looking on facebook for companions, our recommendation would be to find a destination, resort, cruise or tour company and preview their facebook sites, join their "group" pages and then be very cautious when approaching people directly.

For instance, we are avid cruisers so we follow the Carnival Cruise sites. Then as we book our cruise, we search for the exact sailing (destination/ship/dates) on the facebook search engine. There are often 2 0r 3 group pages for each itinerary, so we joined them and after monitoring the pages, narrowed the page down to the group that matched our specific interests.
Doing this, we have had great luck connecting to people who will be traveling on our same journey.
The travelers in the groups have great insight on what to expect (several have been on these cruises) and often share resources. Within these groups, there will be opportunities to meet up with fellow travelers (initially a group setting) for a safer more public way to meet.

We encourage everyone to follow their dreams, but please stay safe!😉
