We have a few spots still open in our November Nepal Trip! We have our fabulous Culture Tour, optional and very populalr trekking extension, but then also some extensions as well! Just found this video in Ian Poole's footage from this last spring in Nepal. Love this song. Such an earworm too. It is so dang catchy. Here we were winging it on Bluegrass Night at Ramsterdam in Kathmandu, Nepal. (One of the best decorated bars out there in my humble opinion.) This is an original song by the great Simon Thomas, who was also performing it here while two mando pickin' gals from the US adding our two cents (me and Zoe Levitt). Good times in Kathmandu indeed!

My Nepali friend Ramesh is a phenomenal terracotta artist. Here is one of his recent pieces just finished. If folks are interested in heading to Nepal with us you can meet great terracotta artists, potters, woodcarvers, and other amazing artists and even study some with them if you are interested. With over 100 languages and so many ethnicities in Nepal there are so many different types of traditional music and dance and clothing. Here is a little taste of one of the traditional dances of the southern flatter region of Nepal known as the Terai. The Tharu people do a traditional stick dance. Here is an example of it. Enjoy.
