We were granted the award of “The Unique Business Idea of Hubud” 🦄

It’s a made up award and doesn’t really mean anything, but the hype is real! We are so glad to be part of the Hubud: Ubud coworking community. Thank you, it is an honor!

Our idea behind Hiwe finally started to make sense when we joined Hubud, a coworking space in Ubud, Bali, for the first time.

We were amazed by Hubud's community and saw the difference a great community can make while working abroad. This place inspired us to make Hiwe happen.

It was the middle of the night in India, we were stuck on the busy streets of Goa. Our driver had just left the car to bribe the police for making a wrong U-turn when we received the call. The call said that we were selected into Base Camp Hackathon from over a 100 candidates.

Now that was just two weeks ago but it feels like months have passed from the call. These 48h (or 60h straight for our Bali team* - on the computer) have been intense, hard and challenging, but hell of a lot fun. Thank you Garage48, Superangel and Palo Alto Club for having us!

We all hate those guys whose Instagram is full of videos of them having fun in Bali or whatever.

If you can't beat them, join them! We'll find you a workspace so you can still keep working while looking good on your Instagram. 🤷‍♂️
