I’m a details girl, so I’m happy to help with everything from finding the best glacier for dog sledding in Alaska, to the most delicious shrimp trucks on the North Shore of O’ahu, and even how to see Rome in a day! Some of my favorite trips to help plan are honeymoons and anniversaries, group travel, European trips, Disney Cruises, as well as those unique and exciting destinations! Ever heard of t

he Azores Islands?! While 2020 wasn’t what anyone was expecting, I was still able to travel to Las Vegas, Aruba, Costa Rica and Walt Disney World! I can’t wait to see where 2021 takes me! The travel industry is constantly changing and we have to be on top of things to provide you with the most up to date information. I regularly meet with suppliers and tourism boards, take webinars, AND I travel to destinations that I love to book! We’ve had some seriously rough seas since leaving Limon, Costa Rica on Monday and weren’t able to dock in Ocho Rios this morning but we had a very relaxing and unexpected day at sea. Who knew we would have so much fun on Princess?!?

Cartagena is absolutely lovely!! You truly do not have to leave the port area unless you want to as there is a lovely aviary with a variety of tropical birds, the cutest monkeys, sloths, iguanas, tortoises and more! We opted to see the cute animals and visit Cartagena as well. We simply hired a driver for the day but you can absolutely book a tour!

We are on day 6 of our 12 night Panama Canal cruise on the Emerald Princess and I have to say, I’m really enjoying my first cruise on Princess Cruise Lines!! So far, we’ve visited Aruba and Curaçao and are on our way to Cartagena, Colombia! I’ve basically “unplugged” for the first half of the trip but I’ll try to post more during the next 6 days. I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving!!

Holiday travel: Yay or nay?

Personally, I prefer traveling over gifts unless it’s the gift of travel 😂 One of my favorite destinations for holiday travel is NYC!! You have the gorgeous tree at Rockefeller Center, ice skating, seasonal pop up bars, Christmas markets, holiday cruises with spectacular views of the Statue of Liberty and so much more! 🎄 so tell me, do you enjoy traveling during the holidays?

Let’s talk size!! ☺️ of cruise ships!! 🚢

Does the size of the ship play a part when you’re deciding on your next cruise? So you prefer smaller more intimate ships? Mid sized ships? Or do you go all out and opt for the largest passenger ship in the world?

For me, there’s a few factors. If I’m going small with limited amenities it’s because the itinerary is spectacular! Mid sized, which is most ships, probably offers sailings to the Caribbean and Bahamas and offers an array of onboard activities and finally, there are mega ships, namely Icon of the Seas. Girl got a big aft but is also absolutely stunning and offers so many activities that the ship IS the destination! So tell me, is the size of the ship a factor for you?

My beautiful sister and brother in law enjoying Royal Caribbean’s newest ship, Utopia of the Seas!!! What better way to end summer than enjoying a getaway with your significant other?! She said they’re having an absolute blast and loving this gorgeous and fun ship!!

I’m so bummed that we had to cancel last minute but we will be hosting a cruise in 2025, so stay tuned for more details! 🚢

Let’s talk groups!! I had the absolute pleasure of planning a group cruise for the lovely folks over at National Imperial Miss earlier this year and guess what?! They enjoyed it so much that they’ve planned another one for March on Utopia of the Seas!! They’re going on a brand new ship, saving several hundred dollars versus booking direct and I’m here to assist every step of the way! Are you ready to plan your group trip?

It’s foodie Friday!! If you’ve been following me for long then you know FOOD is my second favorite “F” word. The first is FUN geez 😂

Let’s talk about some of the best food you’ve had while traveling! I love trying new things and having “local” favorites so while we were in Colorado I absolutely had to try the pork chile verde and good gosh, I was hooked! I could literally eat my weight in it and probably did 😋 See those smiles on our faces? Those had nothing to do with the fantastic weather and gorgeous scenery, those were from the pork chile verde 😂 it is delicious and an absolute must when visiting Colorado! Tell me something delicious you’ve tried while traveling. 🥘 😋

Ahhhh I just love seeing my guests enjoying their trip!!! This sweet family booked their cruise to Alaska a year ago and it’s finally happening!! They are loving the gorgeous views and I don’t blame them! 😍 I can’t wait to hear more about it when they get home! 🚢 ✈️ 🏔️

Alaska!! I have 3 families cruising to this amazing destination later this week and I couldn’t be more excited for them! 🚢 It’s been a few years since I took an Alaskan cruise but it was truly spectacular and probably my favorite cruise to date! Glaciers, dog sledding, whales and views for DAYS! What’s not to love?! Are you ready for your Alaskan cruise?

Let’s talk drink packages on Royal Caribbean!!

I’m asked all the time if the package is “worth” it. Honestly that isn’t something I can answer for you but I can tell you how it worked out for us. I almost had a heart attack when I saw the price for our Icon cruise and was adamant we shouldn’t get it but as I started seeing prices of drinks on the ship, I came around 😂 in doing a little math we determined we would spend way more if we paid as we went because the package includes specialty coffees, bottled water, soda, fresh squeezed juice, Red Bull, wine, beer and cocktails.

Also, I was free to try any drink my heart desired and if I didn’t like it, I didn’t feel bad about not drinking it. So, is the beverage package “worth” it? For us, absolutely!! 🥂
