Morning everyone
It is with great sadness that we have made the decision to sell out lovely caravan. This past year we have t been able to give our time to it as we suffered the loss of my brother and there are other factors now, one my dad being seriously ill so we won’t want to be spending time over on the island and tbh my son has now outgrown going amongst other things as well as also a major factor the site fees have gone up an extortionate amount and unless i can spend alot of time promoting the caravan it isn’t doable. So we’ve decided a touring caravan would suit us better!
We have had some lovely holidays there as habe many of you and the island will always have a place in my heart.
Thank you to all of you for supporting our page though!

Hello!!!

Happy New Year to you all!!
It seems a while since I’ve posted but life gets in the way sometimes and I actually cannot believe we are mid January already!
Thank you to all the holiday makers that booked with us last year and I hope some will be returning this year again!!
Although it’s winter we are getting bombarded on television as always with holidays and tbh before you know it the time comes around very quick.

Just returned from a lovely break at the caravan. We were so lucky with the weather!
Made a list whilst there of stuff that needs doing over the Winter months before the season comes around again!
Meanwhile we still have some availability for short stays or week stays until December. Sometimes a few days break is all you need for a change of scenery and to blow the cobwebs away!!
I’ll share some pics with you of our week. Some places we like to revisit but there was actually a couple of places, one which we stumbled upon which wehadn’t been to before which was Holliers park in Arreton! This was a quirky place with a craft and antique market and a cafe in a bus which does amazing breakfasts!!
Also football golf! We had never done this before and it was perfect for my football mad son. This was at Tapnell farm and it was great fun! Highly recommended!

Cannot believe the school Summer break is nearly over! I shall be heading back to the island mid September to get it ready for guests in the Autumn/Winter months!
Remember we are offering short stays also now so you can do Mon-Fri or Fri-Monday!!
The island is still as beautiful in the Winter with lots to do and the caravan gets warm and cosy! If u just want to relax and chill! Lovely to go and blow the cobwebs away and for a change of scenery or for a relaxing break.
Plse message me if this appeals to you! I can get cheap ferry prices also!

Morning everyone!
Taking Winter bookings for both short stays Mon-Fri or Fri-Mon as well as the usual week stays!
The island is still as beautiful in the Winter and there are many places to visit and sites to be seen or just relax in the comfortable cosy caravan with the fire to keep you warm!

Rant alert! 😡😡Having spent a few days at the caravan onky last week getting it ready for guests this is the first time our cleaner has had to phone us! She is mega efficient and does an amazing job and shows us pics of before and after after each stay. Today she said she could have cried when she got there.

On arriving there were duvets all over the decking then she couldn’t get in because the lock was broken with the key in it. So she had to go to guest services to get the spare key and call us to get maintenance on site to sort the lock.
Anyway once that was sorted she said the inside of the caravn was horrific. She said she had never seen mess like it and sent us pics to clarify.
I’m still in shock! How people can be so bloody disrespectful astounds me!
There was rubbish littered everywhere as if a dog had raided a bin. Stains on cushions (like bolognaise), new sofas stained and carpets stained too. Not just little stains either. It was if someone had got a squeeze ketchup bottle to the place! Door handles on wardrobes in one of the rooms are now loose and somehow we have to get them fixed with the caravan being fully booked for the Summer months!
I take a damage deposit for a reason but in this case they obviously don’t give a damn so sadly im going to have to increase that deposit which is always and always has been so far returnable if all is ok!
So sorry for the rant!! in fact we have been so lucky as so far apart from one slight hiccup had lovely guests the last few years that have looked after and respected our second home and I’m sure and hope those of you that are visiting over the Summer will be the same.
I have made contact with these people and suprise….no response!

It is all ready for Summer! I hope all those that have booked have lovely holidays and enjoy it as much as we do!
Managed to sneak in some little trips over the last few days of some of our favourite places to go.

Evening…
Just thought it quicker to post on here rather than send individual messages. Something I need to add to the caravan info I email out…
If u are lucky to have sunny weather and use the sun brolly, please can you pop it away when not in use as being on the cliff top the breeze can damage it easily as it happened to our last one.
Obviously pop it away if it rains too as well as the chair cushions.

NEW THIS YEAR!!!!

As we have so many people ask we are now doing short breaks!
Mon-Fri or Fri-Mon! In our eight berth static at the lovely Whitecliff bay.
Spend a cosy weekend or mid week break at Whitecliff! The island is still as beautiful in the Winter. Stunning walks to explore, dog friendly beaches too, the friendliest pubs, amazing places to eat also. Or just spend quiet evenings in with the gas fire on, a bottle of wine and some board games!

October half term booked now!

BUT…..

Anyone wanting information about short breaks in October and November plse drop me a message. We have decided to do this as so many people ask throughout the year and I thought well if we aren’t over there and the caravan is vacant then why not!! The island is beautiful all year round and the scenery in the Autumn is stunning! Plus there are still many places to visit and explore, So well worth a visit still. The caravan has a cosy little fire for colder evenings too and there are heaters in the bedrooms also.
Remember I can get cheaper ferry crossing too 👌

Morning everyone…
Just to say I’m taking booking for September! The weather is still pretty good then we sometimes get a late heatwave then! The park is quieter, kids are at school so why not grab yourself a break?
Price of stay and ferries are cheaper too!
Also would anyone be interested in Friday to Sunday stays in October excluding half term time, November or maybe Min-Fri?This is something I’m considering.

Hi everyone
Just paid a flying visit to Whitecliff to get the caravan all ready for guests this season!
It was so lovely to be back there. We normally go frequently but due to family illness haven’t been able too.
