Portugal Fam Trip Journal: Day 2

Rain was in the forecast but that didn’t stop us, we were all excited to explore this beautiful city! We grabbed our umbrellas, met with Diogo our guide and started to stroll the city....we had a beautiful viewpoint right in front of our hotel

After a quick overview, our partners .travel.studio arranged Tuk Tuk on disposal for us! Highly recommend this for your clients, special if they’re only spending a few days in Lisbon, it was the best way to see the city! 

We had the opportunity to explore places like the Bairro Alto, Alcântara, Alfama, São Jorge Castle, Amazing Viewpoints, Lisbon Cathedral and of course Belém!

To top the day! We headed to .lisboa where we had an amazing time, great food but even better company! We got to see the members-only area and enjoyed a little night cap before heading back!

Pro Tip: Have all the Pastel de Nata with Cinnamon Sugar on top! YUM

Our second day in Portugal was spent exploring Sinatra and Cascais. Sintra is a magical and enchanting town located just a short drive from Lisbon. It’s known for its fairytale-like castles, historic palaces, and stunning natural beauty.

In Sintra you will find many beautiful landmarks such as Pena Palace, a brightly colored castle perched high on a hilltop.

In addition to its rich cultural heritage, Sintra is also a great place to explore the natural beauty of the region. The town is located within the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The is a contemporary, boutique hotel that’s centrally located to explore this region!

We’re off to a great start on our Portugal trip, checking into the gorgeous located right in the heart of Lisbon! We’ve fallen in love at first sight as we all experience Portugal together for the first time.

We had an excellent walking tour of the city arranged by partner followed by a traditional Fado dinner and of course stopping to get a Pastel de Nata and enjoying a stroll through the Christmas Market.

We can’t wait for day two as we venture on to Sintra with the group!
