17.6 miles total. Keygan was absolutely amazing clear til the end. She was doing a bit of a shuffling run at the end, trying to get in all she could. It wasn't easy walking either. Deep sand lots of ups and downs, some scrambling. Keygan decided she doesn't like sand, slickrock mountains or bees but that it's all worth it for the views. Successful event today, earned a lot of $$, learned some stuff, took in the views, and had a great time.

Rain or shine, can't stop the grind. This is one of my favorite desert plants, it's called the Desert Trumpet. I like it because the stem is the focal point rather than the flower. There are flowers but they are hardly visible, in small clusters at the top of the plant. Because of this I would describe this plant as interesting rather than beautiful. And being interesting is so much more fun than being beautiful.

We will be raising money for my amazing niece on April 2nd. Her team has been invited to Florida to compete with the best but she needs help getting there. She's going to earn it though. Amazing grind today into a previously unexplored slot near Gunlock Reservoir. Wind was howling out there. Must have been 60mph gusts. Absolutely insane but pretty calm down in the slot. Phoenix and I had a great time exploring a possible new guided adventure.

Back on the grind today up Anasazi Trail to see the amazing rock art. I swear I see something new every time I come up here. Loving this snow in the desert as well.

The grind took us to Hell Hole Canyon today. Repeat client. She just can't get enough of this crazy snow in the desert. This is another recommended adventure. Easy to access, not bad to navigate and huge rewards.

Started the grind today with a healthy breakfast of fried eggs and hot dogs followed by our daily walk to Shroom Rock. Dave is working on the next YouTube video, gearing up the XT250 for some wash riding. Video of that coming soon.
