๐ Taj Mahal (Agra, India ๐ฎ๐ณ)
ใThe Taj Mahal is an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the southern bank of the river Yamuna in the Indian city of Agra. It was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan (reigned from 1628 to 1658) to house the tomb of his favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal; it also houses the tomb of Shah Jahan himself.
The tomb is the centrepiece of a 17-hectare complex, which includes a mosque and a guest house, and is set in formal gardens bounded on three sides by a crenellated wall.
Construction of the mausoleum was essentially completed in 1643, but work continued on other phases of the project for another 10 years.
The Taj Mahal was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983 for being "the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world's heritage". It is regarded by many as the best example of Mughal architecture and a symbol of India's rich history. It was declared a winner of the New 7 Wonders of the World.

๐ Piaศa Unirii (Bucharest, Romania ๐ท๐ด)Which picture is your favourite?๐คฉ๐. ใPiaศa Unirii is one of the largest squares in central Bucharest, Romania, located in the center of the city where Sectors 1, 2, 3, and 4 meet. Part of the Civic Centre, it is bisected by Unirii Boulevard, originally built during the Communist era as the Boulevard of the Victory of Socialism, and renamed after the Romanian Revolution. The square is a significant transport hub, containing the Piaศa Unirii metro station and a major interchange for STB buses; there is also a tram terminal near the southwest corner. The Unirea Shopping Center, the Cocor department store and a large taxi rank are located on the east side of this square, while Hanul lui Manuc is on the north side, near the northeast corner. The centre of the square boasts a small park and fountains which are particularly popular with commuters and passers-by in the torrid summer months. There were plans to build the Romanian National Salvation Cathedral on the place of this park, but the idea proved technically impossible due to the busy underground environment and lack of popularity among local citizens and therefore the location was changed.Credits: ๐น๐: @world_walkerzHave a look their amazing account !!==========================Follow ๐@spots.of.the.world for more spots ๐==========================#spotsoftheworld #spotoftheday #explore #travelgram #photography #earth #travelholic #photo #seetheworld #discoverearth #beautifuldestinations #wanderlust #wonderfulplaces #drone #earthfocus #placetovisit #bucuresti #bucharest #romania #romรขnia #rumania #roumanie #palaceofparliament #piataunirii #piataconstitutiei
