Yestersday at 6:30am Hammas attacked Israel in a way that was never seen before. It caught me sleeping, relaxed on my bed, on a holiday, and it seems that no one saw it coming. Just in a few hours thousands of rockets were shot into Israel's territory and dozens of terrorists got in to the Gaza strip surroundings, murdered and kidnapped innocent people in their homes. Today rockets were shot from the north as well, young men and women who were released from the army had to leave their families to be recruited and protect their home.

The assessment at the moment stand at more than 700 people who were murdered, more than 2,200 that are injured and many people are missing, many kidnapped into the Gaza strip. The disaster is unbelievable, a real life horror movie. Lots of civilians who stayed home are volunteering to help with whatever they can, help to get supplies and treats to the soldiers in front, assist in hospital logistics and whatnot. When the streets are quiet, being active in this uncertainty helps.

!!Murdering innocent people - doesn't have anything to do with "freedom warriors".
!!Kiddnapping grandmas and babies, and who knows what they do with them - doesn't have anything to do with "freedom warriors".
!!Hammas is not for freedom, Hammas is a terror organization.

Luckily me and my family are safe, but there are so many people who lost so much, and the nunbers keep going up.

I hope that better days will come soon, pray for health and safety of all thoes who were kidnapped and those who were injured.

1. If you want to help - there are a few israeli organization which collect donations.
2. Check in with people you know from Israel, maybe they would love someone from outside to listen.
3. Follow the news in the media, support people and pages who share the disaster in Israel, if you see any Hammas comments report them.

Although every time I visit Mitzpe Ramon I see them, meet those wild animals face to face makes me so happy and remind me over and over again that if we allow it - nature can exist side by side with modern life.

The ibexes of this area are used to people and like to hang out near "Beresheet", the hotel on top of the Ramon crater cliff. Beresheet in Hebrew means "the book of Genesis", but also a premodial-untouched place since most of the crater is well preserved.

The Ibexes usually eat things from the trash, but sometimes they enjoy luxury meals - I heard that one visitor left the window open for the night and found an ibex snacking fruits in his room! 🤭

May the wilderness always have a room 😜

Today I was assigned for a daily trip to Masada, but life had different plans.

After a warm week it got colder and today there was rain 🌧️. In the Judean desert, were Messada is located - when there is rain there is floods because there is not much vegetation and all the water arrive at once.

So the people who got all the way to Israel and planned a trip to the unique site couldn't reach there, but we got an adventure!

Instead of Masada we visited Mamsh*t, a wonderful Nabatian site from the first century BCE till the 7th century AD. I haven't got to be there for a few years now because it's not that touristic, when people come to Israel for a week or two they see the highlights and unfortunately (or lucky for us) it's not considered one of the highlights.

We were the only people there besides the employees, there were healthy dessert vegetation on the main paths and we explored all the beautiful building together🤩

Right before we drove back we saw a caravans 🐪🐪🐪

When the plan is out of order it opens the door for the best adventures❤️

As a tour guide I try to stay updated in the new things and innovations that the country and the people in it has to offer.

I went to check out the IMTM - International Mediterranean Tourism Market conversation that took place in TLV Expo center.

It's funny to see how it works, everybody has their stuff on display and try to get emails and phone numbers to send more information about more things to do, quite overwhelming.

What I like the most about touring is that people come up with an open mind and an open heart to meet other people, in a heart to heart kind of way. And that hardly happens in this kind of places, that are more about the -show-off-selling-attitude.

Right before I left the expo my colleagues stopped at the stand of Ghajar Municipality, a village halved by the border between Lebanon to Israel that only the town's citizens were allowed to enter, and that has recently opend it's doors for outside visitors.

This encounter was short but meaningful, I will definitely travel there!

For a while now I haven't wrote on that page, for a while I wasn't really a tour guide. I felt like I'm starting to put my foundations in that field and than Covid just made it all go away.

So I did other things and for a bit I didn't know if I will ever go back to do that amazing thing that I'm so passionate about. I became a manager in a restaurant and that was my life, when the sky opened I didn't believe it and in a way wanted to stay in my comfort zone, I was rusty and didn't know I'm willing to start over again.

And than the right conditions sprouted, I had agents that asked me to work with them and someone that worked with me in the restaurant that allowed me to move on.

My schedule filled up for the summer, when I worked I was stressed about making everything perfect and when I didn't work I had lots of obligations so I didn't really had the time to appriciate nothing.

Today, right now, I got to Satori hotel Haifa with an amazing group. From the outside it didn't looked so nice but the inside is beautiful and well designed. While check in the receptionist told us about the balcony on the 6th floor, I was tired and politely said thank you. Than he added that he made it himself and my heart opened up.

When I walked out a giant smile appeared on my face, stunning view on this sweet moment of last sun light starting to disappear behind the trees and buildings of Haifa.

It's been a while to get back to that point, and I am so thankful for that🙏🏽

I wish that I could share this peace, joy and thankfulness from that moment with everyone. So for now- here is a video of lights on clouds and the port of Haifa☺️

About myself..

When I was in high school I liked to talk to strangers. It's a good thing that my parents didn’t know about it, otherwise they might have been very stressed. Maybe this affection was powered by the understanding that any human being is a whole world, and because I love people and stories. At the yearly hiking tour of the 11th grade I spoke with Nati, the guide, and realized that some people love their job. At that moment a seed was planted in my mind, a seed which now became a dream come true- to be a tour guide. The knowledge from the tour guide course brought joy to my life. Stones, antiques, religions, cultures and legends thrilled me even beforehand, but suddenly it became an insights, little rays of light that became a sky full of stars. I love it and I would be thankful to try and pass that feeling on.
