Had these 2 brothers, Evan and Jack from Staten Island NY. They are return clients of mine and 2 awesome guys. 1st fish of a two day trip with me was a unicorn... a Bonneville Cutthroat Trout. (Fuggedabboutit). These guys knocked it out of the park. Looking forward to next year!!

Took out Kurt from California. Never fly fished before. Never thrown dry flies before.. I did what I do teaching wise and he caught his 1st ever fish on the fly, so happened to be a dry fly... then put an 18" beauty in the boat later that day!!

Every year I hold my own little contest in my head. There is a run/hole on the Green River called, Snoopy Hole, due to the large rock formation that looks like Snoopy. The 1st client of the year to get a fish in the boat, in Snoopy hole, gets my own dollar. Although every client this year had hooked up in that run, it was Steve from Utah who claimed my dollar this year. Great job Steve!

Had Chuck from Colorado for the last 3 days to end my season. The fish he is pictured holding is the last fish of my season and the cap to a great 3 days. An epic eat, followed by several runs. Heck of a way to put a cap on everything this summer...

One of my greatest joys, is watching someone apply the techniques and suggestions I make to improve a client's casting ability. I got to see this in Garrett. He went from being hesitant in casting over 20ft, then by the end of the day with coaching from me and helping him with his confidence....he was casting 35+ feet and pounding the banks with his Dad, Joe.

Joe put the big fish in the boat at 20.5"

Filled in with another outfitter on a 6 boat group trip. Had (T) in blue, (R) in red. T caught her biggest fish on a fly rod with me. 😀 Took a picture of 5 out of the 6 boats at lunch. A convention. Haha.

Spent a good day on the river with a great friend. Les Bouck caught many fish along with these pictured. He even let me use his rod for a few minutes, and I caught one as well.
