LEAVING OHRID FOR THE HIDDEN GEMS BEYOND
After a brief but beautiful stop in Ohrid, we veered away from the tourist tracks to delve deeper into Macedonia's lesser-known treasures. The crowded spots aren't for us; instead, we sought solace and authenticity in the local flavors and sights. 🍇

First stop: Monastery Winary, nestled just beyond Ohrid's bustle. Here, we indulged in a tasting session that included both exquisite local wines and fiery rakija, a true taste of Balkan spirit! 🥂

ANCIENT SITES AND LEGENDARY LANDSCAPES
Next, our trusty Spaček whisked us to Bitola, where we explored the ancient ruins of Heraclea. These historical layers brought to life Macedonia's storied past right under our feet. But the adventure didn’t stop there; we continued on to Prilep, known for its legendary hero Kraljević Marko. 🏰

Lunch in Prilep fueled us for what was arguably the highlight of the day—a drive through the stunning Jasen Nature Reserve. Imagine navigating a narrow road, surrounded by lush, untamed nature—perfect for our little Spaček, which tackled the route with the pluck of a young adventurer! 🌿

🚗💨 New president of the Croatian 2cv Citroen Club! 🎉

On the evening of February 24th, 2024, at the picturesque 'Zlatna kapljica' restaurant in Samobor, the Croatian 2cv Club celebrated a momentous occasion. The club held its Election Assembly, marking the beginning of a new era with a festive dinner. 🍽️✨

In an exciting development, our own Bojan Dvoršek, a long-standing member of the club and the passionate CEO of 2cvtravel.com, has been elected as the new President of the Croatian 2cv Citroen Club / Hrvatski 2cv Citroen Klub🏆🥇 His election is a testament to his dedication and love for the iconic Citroën 2cv, promising a future filled with adventure, unity, and the continued celebration of these historic vehicles.

Mario Patafta, another dedicated and long-standing member, has taken up the mantle of Vice President, bringing his enthusiasm and expertise to the club's leadership. 🤝 The club is also proud to welcome Tibor Skala and Daniel Špehar, founders of the club, as new members of the Management Board. Celou noc jsme nespali❗
Naše holky čekala poslední etapa… Pro ročník 2024 opravdu poslední. Za ty tvrdé KM napříč celým Dakarem Classic toho bylo moc krásného, a na ty drobnosti se zapomíná. Častokrát holky uronily slzu, mnohdy byly tratě Classic nad síly 2CV. A my jsme to prožívali s nimi. Emoce k závodění patří! Crazzy 2 CV má duši a to ukázala celému světu.

Děkujeme Vám za podporu, za možnost zúčastnit se této rally. Bez podpory, kterou od Vás dostáváme, by zázemí Czech Samurais v čele s Mechanic Academy, které je podporované SŠTŘ Nový Bydžov, nemohlo do Saudské Arábie odjet! Nemohli by jsme společně prožívat každou etapu, nemohli by jsme dát jedinečnou možnost stát se mechanikem v Dakarském týmu - žákovi Janu Pavlíkovi. Nemohli by jsme vstoupit do médií po celém světě, které se opravdu povedlo na maximum a nikdo z nás s tak velkým zásahem nepočítal. A nemohli by jsme společně stanout na finišerské rampě, která je po 12 ujetých a odedřených etapách třešničkou na dortu.

Děkujeme za podporu všem kteří nás podporují, partnerům, učitelům, mistrům, fanouškům, rodinám, týmu, mechanikům, Dakaru - a pevně věříme, že Vám budeme dělat radost i v nadcházejícím ročníku Dakar Classic, kde budeme stát v plné sestavě snad i s Vámi po boku.
