Daigo-Sakura
This 1000 year old cherry blossom tree is perched high above the mountains deep in the heart of Ochiai, and is named for the former Emperor Daigo who visited and praised the tree on his way to exile in the 1300s.

"Daigozakura" is a very thick cherry tree (estimated to be 1000 years old) located in Maniwa City, Okayama Prefecture. It is the largest cherry tree in Okayama Prefecture, designated as one of Japan's top 100 trees and a natural monument of Okayama Prefecture (December 1972). The type of cherry blossoms is "Azuman Higan", a kind of Higanzakura. It is characterized by its lovely faint red color, and it blooms all over the tree.

According to legend, when Emperor Godaigo was exiled to the Oki Islands (1332), he saw this cherry blossom and admired it, hence the name. When you actually see it, you will be overwhelmed by its power.

Sera Kogen’s tulip field full of countless colors, where 750,000 tulips of 250 varieties are in full bloom on 65,000㎡. Tulips of various colors and shapes bloom to celebrate the arrival of spring.
