We are holding a raffle for Pawprints Dog Rescue - Dogs Available!
This local charity who most of you are familiar with do incredible work indeed. Very recently they put out a post about increasing abandonment of dogs and a story about Bee, a heavily pregnant Frenchie. Bee was rescued, found in the middle of nowhere.
We are selling raffle tickets at £2 each from today in store or DM us.

I was greeted by this beautiful buzzard at The Hoot this morning looking beautifully autumnal.

The nights are drawing in and there are lots of creatures taking advantage of our woodpiles to hibernate, together with the emergence of mushrooms and fungi creating a very different feel to our special space. We will be CLOSING in a couple of weeks for maintenance and improvements until Easter next year but The Potting Shed will remain open for now.

Many thanks to all our lovely guests this year and special mention to the four gentlemen who decided The Hoot was the perfect place to propose to their partners during their stay! (They all said YES!💍)

SNEAK PEEK
The Hoot is a very special place and we have been busy creating another unique retreat in a nearby location. We will be opening in a few weeks and details will be on Airbnb. “The Potting Shed” reflects my personal love of growing flowers, vegetables and all things botanical and is set within our little orchard.

Pictures all over Facebook this morning of the aurora borealis which was clearly visible here last night. I am so sad I missed it.😭😭😭😭 it is top of my things to experience - I’ve even been to Iceland and saw nothing. Missed it I was in bed absolutely gutted

Happy Earth Day! We planted trees in 23 we’re planting more in 24.
Our little Wood was planted just over 20 years ago and has changed the landscape and offered a sanctuary for both Wildlife and people !
Go and plant a tree today and make a difference - if you haven’t got room and want to name one of ours to mark your special occasion let us know when we will provide you with a tag 🌳🌳🌳
