What should you expect at the proposed reopening of the Walt Disney World®️ Resorts and Theme Parks?
Here’s a brief snapshot of just a few upcoming changes:

-🏰Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom parks reopening July 11
-🎬 Hollywood Studios and EPCOT parks reopening July 15
- 😷Masks will be required for everyone age 3 and up in theme parks and common areas of resort hotels.
-⏸Temporary suspension of parades, fireworks, and character meet-and-greets
-📱Theme park capacity and subsequent required reservations for entry will be SIGNIFICANTLY limited. Attendance will be granted through a new theme park reservation system that will require all Guests to obtain a reservation for park entry in advance. More details about this new reservation system will be available soon.
-🚦Resort Reservations are temporarily unavailable for all ticket purchases and Disney Resort stays to focus on Guests with existing tickets and reservations. (Disney Vacation Club members can still make new reservations.) Existing ticket holders and Annual Passholders will be able to make reservation requests in phases before new tickets are sold.

BIG NEWS is finally on the horizon!! Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings announced in today’s press conference that officials from Walt Disney World®️ will present plans for reopening their Florida Theme Parks tomorrow!
"Walt Disney World will submit a proposal tomorrow, May 27, to the Orange County Economic Recovery Task Force in Florida for a phased reopening of the resort's theme parks," Disney said in a statement Tuesday.

Universal Orlando Resorts®️ has submitted their proposal to the Orange County Economic Recovery Task Force today- including their proposed reopening goal. In their submission, Universal seeks to reopen to: employees for testing on June 1-2, some invited guests and Passholders June 2-3, and the general public on the 5th.
Their safety precautions will include temperature checks and will require both employees and visitors to wear masks. 🌡😷

It’s been quite a day in the worlds of MAGIC! While it was initially announced that both Walt Disney World®️ and Universal Orlando Resorts®️ would be expected to submit and present their planned reopening dates to the Orange County Economic Recovery Task Force tomorrow, Disney has clarified that they will not actually present before the Task Force.

As of this afternoon, Universal®️ officials are scheduled to present before the Task Force tomorrow morning. We look forward to bringing you the most up-to-date information as it is presented- stay tuned to Moments of Magic Travel for the latest magical details!

Beginning today, 3/28/19, loose and dry ice are no longer permitted. Use re-useable ice packs instead (ice in Ziploc bags is also acceptable).

Effective May 1st for Walt Disney World© and Disneyland©:

1. Strollers must be smaller than 31" (79cm) wide and 52" (132cm) long. Many strollers (including double jogging strollers) fit within these guidelines. WDW offers single and double stroller rentals. DL offers single stroller rentals and will soon offer double strollers as well.

2. Stroller wagons will also no longer be permitted (this includes the Keenz© brand). Wagons are still not permitted.

3. Smoking areas will no longer be present inside Walt Disney World or Disneyland theme parks, water parks, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex© or Downtown Disney© in California. Designated smoking areas will be available outside the entrances to the areas listed and at Disney Springs© in Florida. For guests who have room or dining reservations, smoking areas are also available at Disney© Resort hotels. This includes ci******es, vapes, e-ci******es, ci**rs, etc.
