To show our heartfelt appreciation for the brave individuals who battled the fires across the LA area, Disneyland Resort is announcing the 🚒💙 Heroes Ticket ❤️🚓 inviting them to experience a day of fun at the Happiest Place on Earth—two complimentary One Day Park Hopper tickets for eligible California firefighters, as well as eligible LA-based law enforcement personnel.

Continuing on the oldies station. My wife, Lori Capizzi never went to Walt Disney World as a child, but like many of us, would see the parks on TV. Whether it was the holiday parade specials, or Disney's Halloween Treat, that love was there. We decided to hit the parks for our Honeymoon in 2001. A very different resort from my first trip. And yes, these were taken with a camera that used film

- Many more options to stay on property, we stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge
- 4 Disney Parks
- A ton of Dining Options including some of our favorites today like California Grill and The Hollywood Brown Derby

Disney is a great spot for a Honeymoon. There a plenty of amazing restaurants and resorts as well as the parks. Let's talk about a magical start to your happily ever after....

One of the questions I am always asked is where did my love or as some put it obsession with Disney start? 1985 was my first trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando.. here are some facts

-At this point the Magic Kingdom was 14 years old and EPCOT Center opened in 1982.

-There were only 3 on-property resorts. The Contemporary, The Polynesian, and the newest resort The Grand Floridian.

-There was a skyway ride that took you from FantasyLand to Tommorowland.

- 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea was an attraction that was where the Under The Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid attraction is now.
