Travel News You Can Use 2025!
Planning to fly in 2025? Not so fast...

The U.S. *REAL ID* is finally here - and it affects you if you’ll be traveling by air domestically in 2025.

You have just 125 days to ensure your identification is compliant with Federally-approved REAL ID standards, which take effect May 7th, 2025.

For most people, this means a REAL ID approved state Driver’s License. Check your state for specific details.

Is your current license compliant? Look for the star! One image above shows the various “star” compliance logos. Look for one of these on your driver’s license in most states - this means you are ready to fly!

Coors celebrated 🎉 150 years last year. A remarkable accomplishment, and now Coors opens their 200,000sqft brew facility with an eye towards the next 150 years!

The dignitaries were out in force!


and more joined the CEO of Molson/Coors to taste the first beer to come off the new line.

Our Golden community rocks!

Thanks to everyone who made the Golden Gallop a record-breaking success this year! Despite the rain, more than 1,110 registrants fueled Golden’s annual charity 5K and 10K race to provide $35,000 to directly support Golden schools.

A long time supporter and participant, this year I was fortunate to be able to sponsor the race, supporting our schools, and being a part of a great day talking with so many young racers getting out - again despite nonstop rain! We desperately need the moisture, so no complaints from me.

The Golden Schools Foundation newsletter said it best: With a record breaking number of registrants, 150 volunteers, 27 sponsors and a new 5K course record, it was an amazing day with a great turnout.

Last day at Lutheran Medical Center, having a bit of a moment as the patients filter out and the doors close. Our kids were born here, feels like the sunset on a time and place, and perhaps the end of an era…



But don't worry, the new Lutheran opens today, perhaps the beginning of something for the future!
